so, is water curing worth it/

i was forced to chop down some plants which only have a few days of flush (1 week till harvest)

so, i decided to try the water cure, its been just over 24 hours.

decided to water cure, since i heard it leaches out a bunch of nasty shit (excess crap that flushing gets rid of)

so, was wonderin if i could just soak it in water a few days, leech out MOST the crap, then just regular dry, for something in between

ive haerd mixed reviews about water curing, some say it makes bud more potent, others say it decreases potency...

suggestions?

the homework ive done suggests just letting it go as it did at first. let it grow. itll come back supposedntly.

what you mean??
You should keep your buds submerged in the dark for 7 days changing the water every 24 hours, you will see how nasty the water gets at first, Water curing definitely increases the thc content, you will lose about 20% more weight then if you dried then cured. /since trichomes are not water soluble you will have the same amount in both methods but due to the increased shrinkage from water curing, you will have less area in the water cured buds. You will also lose alot of the taste but it will be really smooth. I water cured the AK in the pic, our members loved it!

could I do something like:

cut plant down > water cure for 3 days > dry as normal

i want somethin in between, so the water leeches out "alot" of the crap its supposed to... but so it remains somewhat smelly and flavourful?

I always thought that normal drying after water curing was a no no as your buds will be SOAKING and then just hanging around...attracting everything that likes to call wet plant material home. A lot of things like to call soaking wet plant material home.

so, dehumidifier?

but still, my main question is:

would it be effective to soak my bud for only 3 days, as opposed to a week? for some middle ground...

water curing does not increase thc man. and the point of water curing is not to flush at all but feed untill chop time and then water cure cuzz it supposedly takes out the chemicals in it i personaly havent done it so i donno if it works, but i know for a fact it wont increrase thc

also why would u wanna lose taste?
