it supposedly helps preserve the tricromes and offers a seven to eight day cure instead of a month

you get less weight but supposedly the same amount of thc so more potent buds

however you do loose weight, smell, bag appeal, and taste so its more of an option of doing just a little bit and regular curing the rest of your crop so you have just a little sack to get you through untill the rest finish in the jars

THC is not water soluable, and the bud is protected from air/light, enabling potency to be maintained at it's highest levels, while the nasty chemicals are flushed out

just quoting dont know if its fact or not but ive seen some good water cures and ive seen sum bad water cures

like i just smoked sum water cured today and the high was amazing, but the bud looked like crap, well not crap but it didnt look nearly as dank as it was

it seems disrespectful lol, I would never do it just hang dry and jar it. It actually reminds me of a time I dumped all my buds out of my jar to trim some leaves off. I was putting them back into what I thought was my jar but was actually a glass of sprite sitting next to it. Only a couple rested on top of the sprite for a minute but it got me heated

people need to do some research before making threads this stupid
instead of taking the time of quickly searching for the full story themselves, they must waste others time in order to respond to such naive inquisitions.

thats why we humans have done something incredible............. its called recording things in such mediums as books and now, the incredible internet, dumbass
You sound like a dumbshit, do the research, there are search buttons for reasons, try the one on this site
i knew how to water cure and why i would NEVER water cure a year and a half ago buddy, and this year was my first growing year, thats called doing research, but w/e man i wasnt pointing you out to be a dick, i was saying in general, i just happened to come across your thread when i felt i have seen enough stupid threads with names such as:

"water curing, wha da fuck????"

to actually say something, you naive ignorant tool.
Don't try and get all hard on the internet, i was jsut saying you dont need to waste our time because your a lazy kid who needs shit fed down your throat many times just for you to understand and do, i didnt point you out but of course you took it to heart, typical. Whatever man good luck on your curing, i hope you had or have a good harvest, cause that is what this site is about, helping others and sharing experiences so everyone is a better grower, and not being a child, calm your ass down, and dont get so heated calling people bitches and getting all angsty because they rightfully put you in check, be civilized, or at least try.

and the reason you havn't found a good reason for water curing, is becuase there isn't one, if you go for taste look and whatnot of your buds, then water curing is not for you, because all of that weight that you lose extra when you water cure which is supposedly "detrimental" materials and elements and what not, then those things are making up the beauty of your buds, some of the taste and smell and w/e.

i hope that answers your question(s) about water curing, in my opinion its a waste of time unless you just need to do like a 1/10th of your weed just to get by until the rest is done, okay? cool now? no more shit?

and TDAGD, it just is a green day round here, the final weight was 9.5 oz and it smokes like a champ, and sells for 1.5x as much as high grades round here (thats what my friends are willing to pay, but of course i wont slang that)

well duh, when a person buys green they want to have a good looking bud with a nice smell. not some light weight bud that smells like nothing and looks like crap

yea but i dont think hes gonna sell any of it, if i read correctly. I would water cure just about like maybe a quarter ounce of trees(depending on your yield, i got HP) just to see the difference you know? i mighttry it just so i know for experience and to know not to later if thats the case

If it's for personal use then why not water cure? Sure you lose weight but with less weight means more thc. There is more thc in the fact it loses all other plant material it the water curing process. Another plus is you can smoke 8 days after a harvest.
