Water is pruning my roots

Its a home brew Aeroflo rip off system. The roots will not grow into the water. The bottom of my net cups look like a Bart Simpson buzz cut.
The plants are sick. Slow to root, pale yellow, super slow growth. However, things have been looking much better latley as they slowly grow a root system. Regardless they are at least 2 weeks behind the last crop I grew of the same strain.
I'm using Dyna-Gro nutes with tap water, which has always worked great.
Anyone have any idea? Its very strange. The roots love the environment above the water in the tube but clearly can not grow into the water, which has never been a problem befor. I do use H202 once in a while but this has been going on for over 2 weeks and even if I had overdosed on H202 it would have evaporated off after a couple of days. I changed the res twice, with no H202.

I dont believe you can overdose a plant on H202. if it aero then the water that the roots wont grow it
is being sprayed on the roots right? so not being able to grow in the water dont make sense lol can you
post pics? and whats your PH? and your ppm levels? water temp? what kind of cycle timer you using?
are your roots white? lots of Q but more info is needed

The roots that are there are shiny white and healthy. The spraying water isnt directed at the net cups but just beside them, producing a mist/bubbling spray around the net cups. The pump is on 24/7. PH is stable at 6.0 and PPM is very low as the plants are still small, about 200 PPM. Water temp im not exactly sure of but it is not too hot.

k well all that is good the ph should be 5.5 to 5.8 but 6 aint that bad. the yellowing is a def. has your ph been off at all
in the past? if it hasnt I would up the ppms a bit not sure of dyno grow but if you can give it more nitrogen. and post a pic
if you can

A 6.0 or fluctuating ph isnt going to prune the roots. No the ph has not been off, the Dyna Gro is ultra stable, its never a problem. Yes the yellowing is a def but I am using Foliage Pro and it is stacked with nitro. As I said this has never happened befor with the exact same setup, including strain.

I am frustrated and stumped. There is clearly something very wrong with my water.

I feel your pain man! solving issues in this field can be a gruiling task!
I think some pics of your roots would help a bit

U need a differnt timer. a cycle timer 1min on 4 min off or even a 15 min on 15 off. People say the 15 min on timer wont work in areo but it does i use one. i set it for 15min on 30 off and it only comes on when the lights are on. R u using an airstone in the water. Im not sure if the timer will fix ur proublem but its worth a try. post some pics of the set up

similar thing happened to my roots when i had a combination of not enough air and rez lvl to high and to warm... You need to know your rez's water temp, it can be critical if it gets to hot..

Your supposed to run the pump 24/7 in aeroflo style systems. GH does it and I think they have had something to do with hydroponics in the last 25 years or so. ALso, with regards to the airstone, falling/spraying water has been found to be many times more effective than airstones at airating water in many, many studies. There are even many brands of nutrients that specifically say not to use air stones with their products. Again, Ive never used and air stone befor and have had great results.
