water quality

I am on well water and I know I have "hard" water by the deposits on my fixtures...I called to find out how much for a water test and of course it depends on what you wanna test for. Wanting to do some hydro so I was hopeing someone could tell me what all should I test for out of the list I was given?

I would just get the full package test. You are going to probably need to get an R/O filter but you need to know basically all o fthe "Inorganic Contaminents" anyway.

More thinking I'd be better off just getting the RO then. Why pay $320 for the full test? If I need to get the RO anyways hell, thats more than half of a 1000gpd unit.

I have the Evolution 1000. If you get an R/O then pony up for the prefilter. Depending on the size of your grow I don't think you'll need the 1000 though. Maybe the Stealth 200 with the Small Boy prefilter.

You would be better off just getting a growonix 200 ro system. About the same as the test. Cheaper then most but a great system. I have it and love it.
