water question

remember if the soil that the roots will be growing into is to wet, the roots are not gonna grow through it, and its a bastard to get soil that deep in the pot dry. Iv seen myself over water and didnt have to water for a month because somone told me to water untill you see run off on a newly potted plant. then it turned male...

should i blow the fan on to the plant now?.
Under the plant a few inches, or over a few inches... Don't point it at them ever if its not a light oscillating fan.

Increase perlite and throw a little sand in your soil mix if this happens, sounds to me like too many fine particles compacting together without any bigger mediums to break it up. A worm or two can also make a difference, But should not be added until late Veg- early flower.

A lot of people recommend a Light mix for seedlings, but anything with higher nitrogen levels will give you a good chance at a female. You can always, and most growers say should, buy a 4 dollar bag of perlite and add it to whatever soil you're using. It doesn't hurt anything until you have so much it rises up out of the soil and covers the top (Really covers it as some always rises to The top)... Then it runs the risk of effecting your PH. Not saying that you need it, just want you to be aware it is cheap and it is there. The most important thing to do for The next week or two is just keep your lights 1-2 inches from touching the plant, But never touching. Also (sounds like you probably haven't looked into this) start looking at which training methods you're going to use. LST is usually the best place to start.

for training someone told me to ping it 2 times a day to start with?.

the soil is all mixed with perlite aswell already.

also its a feminized seed aswell.

There are so many training methods its insane. It's all about how much space you have, how many lights, how many plants, whether you're cloning/mothering. You'll have to research through all of them to find what suits you and your plant. I'm working with LST on one plant, and letting one grow as wild as she wants because I waived to long on this grow. But my next one I'm doing LST all the way and growing out of a nice small tote to keep them trained and concealed. I also found that FIMing produced much better results than topping for me, but It's all personal choices. Find what works for you, then perfect. And read read read! Lol.

And fem seeds do not mean female plants. You have a much higher chance of getting a female but it is not one hundred percent up to genetics. In fact, many say it is equal parts environment and genetics that determine male or female. You need to watch your nitrogen, your temps, And anything that will stress it out after its second week of vegetation. That's why you're not purpose to trim, FIM, or top during weeks 3 and 4 of Veg before flower. Fem seeds are created by forcing a female in flower to go Hermi, generally stress or silver compounds. Their seeds can carry that herm gene, and just as easily turn male. Google it... Or review the forums.

Holy shit this thread is fail.

Adrik... STFU. Fem seeds will be fem plants unless you practically kill the plant.

Markob. Leave your plant alone. No more water. Don't touch it.

Check back in three days if it needs water. In a pot that big though, it may be 5 days before it needs water.
