Water

I know No Chlorine. (leave water out for 24 hours)
I know 6.5 PH
What can I use to bring it down, I found out the PH minus (-) for my hot tub contains Hcl and someone said thats bad, but I have used it in water that I germinate with and I get a high germination rate like 80%, so it cant be all bad at 1/8 tsp per gallon to get the ph from 7.2 to 6.5 the PPM thing.

But is 7.2 PH water THAT bad I know Im going to get YESs but...?

The Reverse Osmosis Thing HAS to help me, the water here would choke a horse.

I use concentrated lime juice from "minute maid" (had it in my fridge) and it seems to be working well. Lemon and Lime juice just seems more organic to me than vinegar.

Hi, Cypher ...

I saw your other thread about slow growth with your seedlings and couldn't get my post there.

First, start over with some really good potting soil. Here's a great mix:

2 parts Schultz's "Potting Soil Plus."

1 part Perlite.

1 part Vermeculite.

1 part Worm Castings.

One small handful of Granulatred Dolimite Lime per two gallons of soil mix.

Mix everything together and you're set to go. With this mix, you won't need any fertilizers for at least 30 days ... and more probably 45.

For fertilizers use the following:

Vegging: Peter's "Jack's Classic" 20-20-20.
Flowering: Peter's "Jack's Classic Blossom Booster" 10-30-20.

All the soil mix stuff can be found at your local nursery. They may have to order the worm castings for you. Buy the 25 pound bag.

Here's where to order the Peter's fertilizers by mail:Jack's Classic Plant Food from J.R. Peters, Inc., Fertilizer Manufacturer - Jacks Classic

I believe that your problem is that you BAKED your soil to kill pests ... and you also killed any nutrients the soil contained in the process. Also, forget lowering the PH of your soil. A PH of 7.0 is just fine for soil grows. The lower PH figures are used for hydro growing. I'm talking from experience here ... I killed off a whole bunch of valuable genetics with White Vinagar when I first started years ago in an attempt to lower the PH of my soil.

Good luck ... and happy growing.

PS: There are some really nice 150 watt floros and matching hoods that would be perfect for your grow. I priced a setup like that recently at my local hydro store. Hood and light, ready to go for $150.00 total cost out the door.

PSPS: And ... RO water is the way to go. You can buy a six-stage RO unit on Ebay for about $150.00 and install it yourself.

This is NOT DIRECTED TO ANYONE

I live in the midst of a huge agricultural area. Everybody gets fucking truckloads of shit deliverd to them direct no nurseries as you would expect (JoAnns fucking nursery we sell gardening supplies) WALLY WORLD SELLS SHIT and LOWES BLOWS and HOME DEPOT is NOT DE POT, I can not order online, SO I AM STUCK WITH THE SHIT THAT I HAVE. this is a fucking weed it should just fucking grow. Why does it choose to do the opposite.

OK now that I have blown off steam

I PHd My Soil looks OK to me

Well, the way you worded your last post, I can't tell, but ... do you live close enough to drive to Lowes or Home Depot? They both sell pretty much everything I listed above for the soil mix. And, why can't you order via mail order using a money order?

If you are truely limited "to the shit you have," then you will be stuck with what you have. If you have regular potting soil and you are "baking" it, stop baking it. If you have crappy water, use bottled water. If you are just using the dirt you dig up from your yard, you're gonna need something to lighten it up like Perlite. What do you use for your house plants?

And, by the way ... if you treat your marijuana plants like "a fucking weed," all you're gonna get is bunk weed. Treat it like the gift it is and you'll grow some great bud. It takes time, effort, good light, good soil, good air, good water, good nutrients and good growing skills to do it right. Otherwise, just throw some bag seeds out into the yard and hope for the best. *lol*

Um I don't have any house plants they all die like sprouts. Even ones that I buy that have different soil. EVEN BAMBOO

Home depot, Lowes, and Wally WOrld all carry the same shit arround here everything has nutes in it and they only carry specialty soil. The best one I found without nutes was gardeners, and due to outside conditions ALL have bugs that need to be killed first. SO I have Gardeners Potting soil which has wood or Miracle grow potting soil which mostly everyone says to get rid of.
