WaterFarm 2 system experiment

Ok everyone, the time has finally come; I now have my 2 GH WaterFarm kits and my commercial pump. So now that I have 2 different kinds of nutrients I figured, why not have a true test of nutrients. I will be comparing “Cutting Edge Solutions – 3 Part” against “GH Flora – 3 Part” to see which is better. With this test I will be buying clones so that I know that both are females and of the same strain. But I have some time because I am going to wait until after I finish my current grow. I have taken the pump and started using it on my current bubble bucket setup. I think this will make for a good show.

Cool man, looks promising. I'll be following to see your results. I'm not much for using mfr charts, but I'd like to see the difference between the lines in a well-logged and well setup run. Seems like you got it all in order, as long as the cuts are from the same mother.

What strain? Did you drill bigger holes in the grow chamber? How long you plan on running the drip rings? What size is your pump?

And if i can throw a bit of advice given to me on to you, the water levels in these can be into the grow chamber because a drip ring causes more of a rope-like root versus the fine-haired roots that are more efficient and beneficial which are more easily grown in the actual solution. Having the water up into a couple inches of the hydroton causes a full-on rootball moreso than just the drip. As long as you have the aeration, works out a bit better.

Ok the systems are clean and on standby, @mike91sr I am not sure what strain just yet no need to drill extra holes the factory holes seem to be working good for the moment. I plan to run the system on a 24hr drip and the pump that I am using is Active Aqua AAPA45L Commercial pump.

Yeah I drilled em just to make sure there wouldnt be any constriction later into flower. Cant say if it did anything either way.

I'm trying so hard not to use the kits before my test is done but I just got some new seeds in and I think due to space and time I might have to put this on hold for the time being but I'll keep everyone posted.
