Just ignore the video, its pretty impossible to have a "regular/daily" watering cycle when the plant uses different amount of water/nutes depending on the size of the plant, temperature etc. The best bet is just to use the weight/dryness of the pot as the measurement when to water.

If you are this worried about watering or if you are over watering PK.....
Take your x amount of water.... and divide it by three.....
Feed your Plant Three times a day with smaller amounts of water... It does not have to completely soaked.
Best thing for you it sounds like is a drip feeder. This way you get the same x amount of water, with plenty of oxygen to the roots all day long.
I hand feed 1-3 times a day... Water - feed - water
wait till the top gets dry and continue..
If you know how much your ladies need, then why would you change the routine?
Just saying i go and water when my lady's tell me to water them

I drink 200 ml of water a day no more no less. Even when its hot out side. Or when i go to the gym.
Are you a plant? Especially one that grows exponentially in 4 months?

k dude relaxing outside and working are two different things.... when i relax i don't drink much either... but when i work in the heat or cold i drink a lot... im pretty sure the plants are working not just sitting there relaxing my friend.....

No doubt all of you are correct, but my healthy plants dont show signs of overwatering ever, but i have been kinda almost flushing them every feeding.
Last crop i used 5 gallon pots and watered them w a gallon of water each, when they needed it. but massive amounts of water comes out the bottom of the container. Moreso, than ive been told is healthy....
But the plants show no signs of not liking this except maybe lower yields, but that is hard to determine!

That 'kinda flush' is called leaching and is a good thing. Lots of run off is a good thing, you never get any sort of salt build up and never need to flush.
What you did last crop with the 1 gallon of water in a 5 gal container when they need it, is correct. At least that's the way I've been doing it for better than 35 years for ALL my plants, not just mj.
Let me guess, the info that it was 'more than healthy' came from a mj site, yes? And the lower yield bit just doesn't follow any sort of way. How would that work?
Go back to what you did last crop and quit getting grow advice off you tube. Any idiot can put a vid up with bogus information and you had it right last time.

A *flush* IS a bit of a stress on the system. I mean 3x the pot size in water? 15 gallons through a 5 gal pot is a long ways from 1 gal through a 5gal pot.
Unless you have seriously over nuted, I see no reason at all to flush, ever.
