Watering in the seedling stage

I had mine under a cfl rig while my stuff gets in light drooped down and burned the shit out of one of the leave's on a two leaf week old sprout. Didn't even phase it and the leaf is basically gone lol

What stage seedling is it ....did it just pop or is it well established .....I like using a water bottle with little holes poked in the lid so when I squeeze it ....it acts like a small sprinkler and is easy on the little plants .....can't tell you how much to water without seeing it honestly but seedlings don't take much ....GL
That's the idea. Longer cycle is easier on the plant, and with all of the media moist, the roots have more space to spread. They won't grow out into dry soil.

To be clear, this was not in response to the stunting comment. That was probably due to not letting it dry enough.

When I pop seeds I do it directly in the soil & water with a hand mister. I keep a ziplock bag over the top of a solo cup and put it on a seed blanket until the stem and baby leaves emerge then take off the baggy. I spray the seedling daily until there's a couple nodes then I use a squeeze water bottle to saturate the soil as needed. The idea is to keep the soil as wet as a damp rag all the time. Once they get transplanted to a larger pot I water as normal with a garden style watering can about every other or every 2 dayz..,,
