Watering

Hello everyone. I am about 8 weeks into veg and I am almost positive I ran into an overwatering issue about a month ago when I transplanted from solos to a 2 gallon pot. I think I over saturated the pots way too much and stressed the roots out with way too much water. Well its been about a week or two since they started coming back to life and growing again, but they seem like they still aren't drinking nearly as much water as I can remember giving my other plants in previous runs. Right now I am watering every 4 days with about a quarter gallon of water. Even going into the 4th day, the medium still seems to have more moister than I would like. It just seems like they aren't really taking in much water, and the growth has been pretty slow. Any suggestions or opinions? And do these plants look smaller than they should at about day 55 from sprout? They look healthy now, but like I said, I feel like the growth is still very slow and they aren't taking in nearly as much water as I believe they should be.

Half are in coco, the other half in living soil. No til on both the coco and living soil with 4 tbs of 4-4-4, dolomite, 1 tbs kelp, and 1 tbs azymite. Top dress every 2 weeks with 1tbs per gallon of 4-4-4 . Last top dress a week ago with a compost tea containing 3 gallons water, 1 tbs kelp, 1 tbs alfalfa, molasses, and earth worm castings brewed for 24 hours. 77 degrees during day 70 at night 60 % humidity

bro I did the exact same thing on my last grow...which was my first grow...and ended up with 250 grams off 3 plants of some FIRE. Had them tested and I had a white widow hit 27.3 and Bruce Banner hit 24.6 and LA Confidential hit 23.6

And yes I have been using about the same watering on both coco and living soil. The living soil I use is Roots Organic so isn't it mostly coco anyways? lol They dry out in about the same time. The living soil ones are just a tad bit bigger, due to extra nutrients most likely. But what I'm asking is do these plants look healthy? And for 50 days from sprout are the normal size? And is a quarter gallon of water in a 2 gallon pot every 3-4 days also normal for a plant this size?

If I’m being 100 , I was being sarcastic because I see a lot of people here treating coco like soil and failing miserably. Not saying it can’t be done, I don’t grow in coco but seems like it’s easier to go soil or go coco. Living soil is just that with the goal to be water only. Imo 2 g is way to small for the technique

I know 2 gallons is too small. Thats why I am asking, is it normal for a 50 day old plant to only need a quarter gallon of water every 4 days in a 2 gallon pot? I want to go bigger but it can't even handle the 2 gallon pot waterings right now. They look healthy at this point but I know there is a way to get faster root and plant growth than what I did. Either it being watering less earlier on, or different size pots. IDK Thats why im asking lol

Nice if it’s working it’s working but read around and watch the problems others seem to have. Again I’m not a coco guy. As of now anyway

As long as your keeping your vpd is in range you can grow successfully with temps 70 or above. Just need to keep humidity in check too

And the gap from transplant to when the soil in the 2 gallon pot actually got going to make nutrients available, where I probably should of gave a small tea to them, I dont think it had enough nutrients available to sustain at the time
