so i need help on how to tell when is a good time for water i feel the soil to see how damp or wet it is and its always hard to tell shuld i water the plant when the soil is Completely dry? because so far i have been watering mine ever 2 days and im scared of over watering again... how do you tell?

If you have a good soil mix and good drainage then you wont have to worry about overwatering. Basically though, put your finger into the soil - about 1" down. If it still feels moist then leave it for another day. If it is dry then water it - and water it properly until you start to see some dripping. Make sure that it stops dripping or that any collected water from the bottom of the pot is drained away and dont let your pot sit in a puddle of water :)

if you aren't sure about when to water by testing the soil then check other ways. Wait until your leafs are starting to droop, that's a sign they are thirsty. Once that happens, your soils is probably pretty dry, lift the pot and feel how much it weighs. Remember the feeling of how heavy it is when it's dry. Now you have a reference for when they need water. Just lift your pots and see how heavy they are, if they feel like they are filled with styrofoam, then it's time to water. If the pot is still heavy, then no need to water.
