wattage

ok so i get that your not suppose to care about the replaced wattage. So other then that i assume more wattage the betteR? well i could only find 26 watt lights at lowes. They were bulbs not tubes. So is 26 watt even close to working? or am i going to have to buy like five of them?

oh also is reveal the same as daylight?

Hey Man. You could use just one 26w but really just in a pc case. I'm running on one plant that's just over a foot tall I have 2 23w cfls and 2 9w cfls for the sides ad I rotate my plants daily. But the more bulbs and the more wattage the better. He'll I'm sure you could grow under just one regular household bulb but I woulnt expect it to work even par lol

And shit read the back of the packaging for the Kelvin temp you should be looking for 5000k and up and 2700k bulbs for veg and flower and make sure there atleast 23 watts I first bought those 9w ones and there not enough for just two a plant

How many did you buy and how many do you plan to use? How many plants are you growing? What does your setup look like? I was told that you should use about 80 true watts per plant but I think that's overkill. You could get by with probably about 42 on each plant. I could only find 100 Watt bulbs at Lowe's too. Sometimes they have 150 W and 300 W but they are usually the red spectrum bulbs, not the blue spectrum. Red is great for flowering but vegging needs the blue (day light) bulbs.

ya they had plenty for flowering.
I plan on growing just one or two plants, in like a 2'4' area.
so if i got two 23w actual, it would just add up to 46? lol that sounds really dumb, but just making sure the plant will absorb the energy correctly.

More is always better but you could get by with a small amount, it would probably produce fluffy buds though.

You should have a minimum of 40W per plant. If you don't feel comfortable with using 43 and can't find anything higher anywhere else, then try looking on eBay or a local classified ad site (i.e. craigslist, kijiji, etc). I had the same problem as you, but in stead of buying online, I just bought one from my boss at work. :P
