I know the thread is old but I have seen plants under high UV show that waxy leaf reaction at levels just before they start burning. So that can also be a cause in some situations. It can also be genetic. Of course excess nitrogen can cause it too.

I have seen this a few times and what I found was not the problem was n toxic or heat stress .it was during winter and oneds also only got literally 4 drops of gh flora dark bottle and 3 drops of the green stuff .as far as I know their isn't any n in the pink.so still a mystery
