ok, so i've heard about 5 or more diff ways to germinate, so I've decided to take two diff approaches. I have 3 seeds that I soked for 12hours+ in shot glass, then put in little seed starter things (look lilke dirt keep moist) and put under plastic grow lid for moisture. My other method is after seed soaking like above, put directly into small pot with moist fox farms light warrior mix with minimal perlite, and stick 2inches under 24watt t5 growlight. I heard the paper towel method is stressfull for young seedlings, as why i avoided. Any thoughts, suggestions.....I think im waaay over thinking this.......damn it, I just want some good crop!!

what amount of time you can soak a seed for without having to worry about harming it?
I've been going with the paper towel method and a heat pad under the plates
and seeds usually start popping within 15 hours and some take as much as 36 hours
so if I could cut back on that a bunch with soaking them for some time that would be great!

nice, easy and 2 the point-thanks........turned off t5, all under under dome in dark room-put it in the soil,put in dome,3 days have sprout.........genuity
im making it harder than it is.......just dont wanna kill all the seeds i just bought

Yeah bro I gotta be honest all those methods will work youre just thinking "if I do it this way it will be better" naahhhh just take an idea and go with it. I like the paper towel method and use it between two plates and set it in a warm place and with in 24 hours theyll pop. You have to think......why would that put stress on the plant???? does hydro put stress on plants?? youre drowning them right??? its all good MJ is very very thriving and will fight to make fatty ass buds for you........good luck let us know how it went
