The structure of a plant varies a lot between strains. Ive had some that could support anything, need no support and don't even get super leafy...remarkable really. Others grow fast and thinner and without supports would have most every branch fall over.I want the stems and branches thicker so they can support fatter buds, thats what im getting at
Thank your for the guidance man! Those ones you have are looking beautiful. What I hope mine will look like one day!I start bending the main stalk when the plant is young and supercrop lightly near each main branch. And on each of those branches right next to the main stalk. And you can use silica and alfalfa in your watering, among other things and really, really, really good soil. It makes them happy! View attachment 4711330View attachment 4711336
This one had a lot of the main stalk buried when she was put in this bed. [I wonder how thick it's gotten under the surface ?]
Then the fans help too. You want lots of air movement in their space and enough moving around them to keep them wiggling a little bit too.
Other people on here like @ganga gurl420 and @double and many others could offer some more advice too. And I'm sure it will come I will be busy while we are waiting
More detail please....Most folk use bamboo sticks because they want buds in 2 mths and gtfo
did u click the link?I want the stems and branches thicker so they can support fatter buds, thats what im getting at
I usually end up with a sea of those clipped to fixtures.forget growing fat stems. grow fat buds and use these:

But bigger stems can feed more, bigger buds.did u click the link?
you will need support for your nugs that will break branches even if you had wind blowing on em and fed em silica or whatever. most people use trellis netting, yoyos, bamboo stakes, plant ties. put a yoyo on a main cola and then support laterals with plant ties. thats how i do it. outdoor u can use tomato cages or build 3d trellising
spend your energy on growing fat nugs not fat stems.
I tried this for a while with a mixture of choice words as the lights came on. I think that harvest gave everyone headachesI used to whip my stem and branches aswell as having a fan on them
