Ive been smoking since I was 13 im around 18 now

I graduated early

I've tried to kill myself a couple times before I realized how valuable life is

I'm not really stupid

And I never did any hard drugs except for zannax

I've been in alot of trouble and only once was over weed the rest of the times it was fights and skipping school to do shit with my friends

I do stupid shit sometimes lol especially when I'm with my friends

Like wearing short shorts in the winter one time lol

Yeah I mean if ur high in school then you wouldn't learn much lol

But I mean like I smoked a couple times a week after school

The younger crowd I know said their school life went down hard after smoking.

Lost track in sports and academics.

I was in my mid 20's. So I wouldn't know. I was fully equipped smoking daily and working. Everything was firing on all cylinders and I was sharper at doing my job.

I mean if I was gonna kill myself I whould smoke alot of weed and or alcohol

So I guess thats where they get the statistics from

I started smoking at 13yrs old. Graduated high school with a 3.8. Gave 12yrs honorable service in the United States Marine Corps. I went to college and have a degree in mathematics.

I accomplished all that while "under the influence of injecting multiple marihuanas"

But that's just me, I know I'm different.

This is the dea and the anti cannabis peoples last straw effort to stop legalization. Their whole campaign has turned to kids. But I don't remember cannabis being marketed to kids. What's the legal age to buy in Colorado or Washington? 21 right? Just like alcohol. Alcohol has worse effects on developing brains than cannabis but you don't hear about that.

Being a father of a 3yo I think about this a lot. I won't be as open and "cool" as my parents were. I will NOT let my kid have cannabis at anytime before he graduates high school. He will have to make his own decisions in college, can't stop them forever.

Alcohol actually makes you have a dependency and its a VARY lucrative business

Weed and can be a VARY lucrative business with out tearing familys apart and actually have a medical use

I know im preaching to the choir lol

When I want to be fucked up and enjoy it I LOVE liquor or beer

Shit gets too real when I get fucked up off of weed lol I dont enjoy it as much imo

Do like my mom did and smack the shit out of him/her for weed till hes like 15 or 16 and if he is still into it then give him a vary little bit so he doesn't have to buy it off the streets lol

Whats worse your kid smoking with you

or

your kid getting arrested and having that in his record???


Make it a controlled environment for weed and not were he/she has to risk Arrest or laced weed

But dont just give him grams upon grams when he asks

Just like once every few months let him toke with you or give him like half a gram if he does what you ask and keeps his grades up

Im serious id do that with my kids

Plus it will give him incentive to keep his grades up and do chores

And he wont be exposed to harder drugs thats a big one I forgot to mention

But to each his own

I've been through sketchy situations trying to buy weed from people

Ive almost been stabbed and had the fuck beat out of me for my money

Lucky I had a friend who was also a big time dealer and he'd let me have a few grams for being back up on deals and driving him up to the store to buy cigarettes and shit lol

Mostly we just fucked around and listened to music lol

Ya I been smoking since 1992 , graduated HS with a 3.5 , did some college got a 3.0. Got my degree. I smoke every morning and wake up at 5am , goto work and take care of baseball league for the kid, and all the damn honey-do-list

But I told my stepson when he was 16 that if he's gonna smoke "get all your shit done first. Know your limits , and don't smoke with sketchy ass people. And to never fall into the pressure just because.." Most important I told him was "Don't smoke my fuckin weed!"
But I knew I couldn't stop him.

Today he turns 21 and he's alright. Not bomb dot com like me but he's Ok. He doesn't really even smoke anymore. Now for my younger kids (16 and 7) probably take the same road. Its hard to be on surveillance with them all day so all I can do is plant the seed in their heads. Set by example I guess. My 7 yr old doesn't even know I smoke ...or what weed is. He sees my plants and says "I don't know about these tomatoes pop " but I think i wont want them smoking until they are either 18 or 21 and/or it doesn't affect their motivation to stay ahead in life.

Life and priorities first and always

Edit: and I really hate when I see kids look high AF . I mean blasted and just look like the dude from half baked (forgot his characters name) all driving or hanging out. I'm high most of the time but it never shows physically just in my attitude. That shit ain't cute to look all "stuck on stupid"

I'm taking stats next term, wanna help? I suck at math. I was good until algebra 2 in high school, but that's when I started partying and smoking weed. Everyone's different.

I'm 6 classes away from graduating college at 33 yo. I also gave uncle Sam 8 years of my life, and injected lots of marijuanas along the way.

Damn man math is tough. That's the only subject I always had to study over and over. Once I hit calculus shit got deep.
