Weed in my fridge?

If I have weed that's already been cured, put it in an airtight jar, and then put it in the fridge, will the weed dry out or anything?

Are there any reasons why you shouldn't do this?

I've seen people do this and others that swear against it.

Haven't seen convincing evidence either way.

Sorry I can't be of more help dude (N)

The only bad thing about putting cured weed in a freeze is that it makes the trichomes very very britle. They eventually fall of especialy if over handling the weed. I personally never recommend anyone stick weed in the freezer...unless your goal is to reduce potency...but I heard not to many people like that :) Keep it in the jar man, its much better that way :)

Not the freezer, the fridge. I want to keep some out in the garage where I like to smoke at night, but the garage is kind of warm in the summer. But, I have a perfectly working full-sized refrigerator out there for extra food storage. So, if I put some in a canna-jar and put it it the fridge, will it be unaffected, as if it was at room temp? What about moisture?

He's got it in a jar, and he's not freezing it. Did you only read the thread title and then mistake fridge for freezer?

Oh, and the fridge is fine as long as you've got the herb tightly sealed. If your garage gets as hot as mine, it's probably better. Just make sure it's sealed tight, else the refrigerator will dry it out.

I'd just worry about moisture, should be fine otherwise, though I'd imagine the trichs will be a bit brittle so don't over handle
