Been charging the 4 people that buy from me about $230 an oz for the last 6 years. Prices really haven't went up. The people that buy from me live in a small town mostly and don't really have anywhere else to get it. The main guy who buys 60% of it resells all of it the $280 an oz or $80 a quarter... Should I raise prices a small fraction? Lets be serious prices are way up everywhere around you.

When cost goes up for growing, adjustments should be considered.
Raising price because someone else is profiting? That makes you greedy.

Prices have steadily declined in Chicago since we went med legal in 2019, then rec legal in January 2020. Previously I was charging $350 per oz and couldn't grow enough. Then in 2019 I went down to $280 an oz, and finally settled on $240 an ounce, which seems to be very competitive for top shelf dank. You can always lower your prices, but in my experience you cannot raise them. People HATE that shit, and will often go elsewhere just out of 'principle'. $45 an eighth, $80 quarters, $140 halves, and $240 ounces. I doubt I'll go any lower from here. I grow about 22 ozs per month, so it is still a pretty good living, but I miss the good old days...
22 oz's a month is about year I'm at, I call it Michael Jordan bc he wore 23 obvs... Ok @tyler.durden its 2027 and prices are way up more. U still at the same prices??

In 2005 I could sell an oz of deathstar for $600 now I'm lucky if I get 200
That's fucking sick... The main people I sell it to and they re-sell live in a small town and don't know where to get it from.

If market prices rise ubiquitously because of a sharp increase in costs, I would consider riding that wave. It doesn't seem to be the case currently. You seem to have a captive market, I would try to find new clientele and charge much more if I were you. Just keep your current customers while you hunt for bigger game.

I do 250 an oz for friends and yeah 280 if someone rando wanted some. Everyone seems very happy with this price.

I don’t sell marijuana. I smoke everything i grow so i wouldn’t even know what to sell the marijuanas for.
having said that. Prices took a shit in Ca. Last year they went up, this year they crashed. Everyone’s got packs right now. Summertime used to be the easiest time to off your indoor. Not this year.
or at least that’s what i heard but i don’t know first hand because like i said i only smoke it don’t sell it.

I thought about find new clients and raising the prices, however my one main guy is buying about 14 oz's a month and I get the cash every wednesday and this has been going on for 6+ years. All I need to do is dump him and get someone unrealible and I'm fucked.... Yeah man I know I have dumb posts for real sometimes, but its bc I over think shit bc of my health issues that are not good. I can't even smoke weed and somehow missed out on the stock market when it crashed in March of 2020 bc my thinking is off sometimes bc of my tinnitus, etc.

I give away weed, mostly concentrate. That is much easier to gift.
