Weed stem too thin

Buy a fan and point to the plants

The fan will make out the wind, that the plants need to make bigger steams, so that they can support the big budds.
 
they're stretching because you need more light. growth will really be slow under 65-68
 
NO. basically that is a joke, and waste of money. you would be better off with cfls. get some 26w 6500k cfls and put them about 4-6" above.
 
I dont know how much you paid for that led, but
whatever it was it was too much. If they're stretching
that bad they need more light period, a fan would help but not having
a fan isnt the problem here at all.

Superstoner's right dude, just 2-4 26w cfl's would be 100 times better than what you have on them right now. 6500k and they'll stay short as fuck :weed:

and if you cant get cfls at the moment at least put that led as close as you can get it
 
hi! this is my very firts post here, been reading alot in this forum, anyways... a guy i know had the exact same problem.
the plant turned out just fine, after some bambu sticks for it to lean on and offcourse a fan, the stem grew thick as fu*k =)
don't know if u coninued your project, but if that's so i bet it looks just fine :D

Not trying to bash the OP or anything but I don't think I have ever seen seedlings stretch like that ..... I didn't know they would reach that far even without adequate light ..... LOL wow
 
You need to transplant them or bury them right up to within an inch of the first set of leaflets. then give them a few days and watch the magic. You will hopefully get a larger root mass and see faster overall growth. The growth will be really slow with that much stretch....jmo
