I just follow the athena schedule. Ec was dropping on 2.0 but seems steady on 2.4 might knock it back to 2/2.2

Those schedules are only guidelines and designed to sell you more fertiliser. I have just had to change my soil and my nutrient line. According to my schedule I should be giving 3ml per litre, I was only giving 2ml per litre and still the nitrogen was too high. I have put this down to the new soil being richer than I thought it was. So I have backed off to plain water only and when things normalise I will start feeding at 1ml per litre and work it up slowly.

It is all a learning curve.

Here are some more photos… these buds look a lit more devolved than plants in first photos. Lots of amber hairs but still very very small. Going to do a water change today and knock ec back to 1.8/1.9see how they get on

Those buds do look small to me for the timeline you say they are on. In the more recent pics they also appear that they may have been pollinated.

I’ve grown out a few stardawg seeds over the years , and everytime they went 80+days in flower. On average most strains (ime) run 70+ days in flower, regardless of what the breeder times on the website say.

Oh no what makes you think they have been pollinated? Would that explain the small buds? I did remove 1 plant 2 weeks ago because i think it was hermie but im sure i caught it before it even had pollen sacks

Too much N, and the one looks pregnant. To cold of water will slow growth too, if you turn the warm tap on with the cold and get it to around room temp(cool to the touch but not uncomfortably) it’ll help. I gotta do that from late fall through mid spring otherwise my taps frigid and stunts the shit out of plants.

cold roots can also cause herm traits to present leading to self pollination hence your pregnant gal so I’d be wary of using any seeds it produces. They might be fine though I don’t really know enough about genetics or plant science to confidently claim stress induced parthenogenesis leads to hermaphroditic offspring.

Hi mate cheers for the reply, the water temp is my only issue as of right now now. Gets cold at night (57f) buts gets to about 65 in the day. I have cut ec down now also to 2.0. I really hope they pull through and i may have to get a submersible pump asap to heat water before res change

I am in week 6 and my buds seem very small! In dwc. Its stardawg and apparently its a 7/8 weeker but surely there is longer to go yet as they haven’t even started swelling at all…

slightly worried by the size of them, anyone think I’m overthinking it or they are actually pretty small
Set up is 1x600w pro lumatek zues 1 x300w pro lumatek in a 9x5 and nutes are at a stable 2.6 ec snd ph 6.0.
Only issue i can see is my water temps range from 15c to 19c i know thats cold but will it be that detrimental that it massively crashes my yield
Why are you having a small child hold up their hand as a reference? Use a banana like a normal person so I can get a better idea. Your plants look do good and happy.

Change your res, use warmer water, those temps are WAY TO COLD. How are they getting that low indoors? You in a basement? 66f is the coldest you should use a pump won’t heat much, an aquarium heater would be a good bet though

That's what flowers look like at 1 month to to six weeks old. Their starting to stack.

Some plants are just late bloomers too. I was a bit worried about the punishment I gave my latest dwc experiments but they really started to pack it on after week 8

I had a feeling water temps were going to be a factor… i am indoors but in a purpose built shed in my garden so is more open to the elements I guess. Never bad this issue before converting to full led but thats a con of leds I suppose
