Week 6, Spider Mites. Neem vs Pyrethrum

So as my title said I just started week 6 of an 8-9 week flower strain. I found two plants are pretty heavily infested with spider mites. I sprayed em with neem oil, the most natural insecticide. I know its is most effective when used a couple times a week as a preventative. I know that pyrethrum is also natural, extracted from dried flower heads, but I've read plenty of info warning against using the pyrethrum bombs late in bloom. I have a small room, I'm considering breaking the locking tab off the bomb and just spraying the room manually for 10-15 seconds. If you have an opinion or suggestion please include a clear answer on what you would do and why. Thanks so much, guys. Cheers.

dont over do it. try a fix and if it doesnt work try something else. I use Azamax three days in a row if i see a problem and once a week on all the girls as preventative. Havent had a major problem since i began regular treatments. Cut the treatments last two weeks and been good to go smoke wise as well. good luck

Before you think about using something else look into it, I can personally say I'll NEVER use anything else.

dbkick, you work for mighty wash. That product is a scam. 99.9% water. The other .1% is supposed to be some kind of frequency. Once you remove the electricity source from the water it loses its charge. You're selling water.

Neem isn't to be used once the plant starts to flower. Pyrethrins and Azamax are able to be used until day of harvest according to manufacturer. I personally used them both, alternating treatments every 3-4 days, until 3 weeks before harvest. My bud has no harshness and tastes exactly as it should. I just wouldn't use a bomb in flower, I prefer the aerosol spray so I don't have to use so much at once. Don't use No Pest Strips during flower either, but I've found them to help during veg as a preventative. I'll never deal with mites again, I hate those fuckers.
