Week 7 flower. Weed losing color and hay smell.

Week 7 -Flower
LED light
Drip Nutrients.
temp 75
Humidity 50 ish (I’m lowering it with the growth. )

I came in my tent today and normally my plants have a really good smell and look around this time. But for some reason with this strain my leaves are dying out and the plant that smelled like gas a week Ago now smells like hay.
If I rub it I get the smell but no where near like it smelled before.

am I doing anything wrong or is this okay. Also will the smell come back during drying?

What strength nutes have you been feeding. Also, what is the ph of the solution and soil ph if you did a slurry test. They look fried, not sure if it's really been overfed or light being way too strong or close. I'd harvest the one in the first pic as those dying sugar leaves will lead to bud rot once they get inside the cola. Like someone else said, something has gone really wrong. You need to find out what and learn from it for your next grow. It's a learning process and not everything goes to plan the first couple grows. You just want to fix the big stuff for your next run so you can start paying attention to the smaller details.

I have been weening them off of nutes and I actually started the flush for this one 3 days ago.

before flush the last feed ppm was 1550 at 6.3 ph.
Also the plants were legit green and all good before flush. I’ve seen some leaves start to die off after flush but never this bad. I did not get to slurry test but I flushed all the way to 250 ppm with water 6.3 ph.

my temps have been getting high due to the garage being located in socal but I’m working in an ac.

they smelled and looked wonderful a week ago.

normally I feed once a week(when thepot is light)
Utilizing the drip feeding chart.
If light before next feeding I feed water /no run off.

Is week 7 of flower meaning 7 weeks since 12/12 or 7 weeks until you saw pistils? What ec conversion factor does your ph pen use, .500 or .700? 1500 ppm of salt nutes is a pretty high feed if it's the .500 scale. You said in the original post temps were 75, are they much higher than that lately? One more question, is there a fan blowing directly on the buds? Keeping your temp and humidity consistent is important but it would have to be really hot to do that kind of damage to the sugar leaves. No healthy plant is past ripe at 7 weeks, that for sure isn't the problem. We need to figure out if it's nutes, light issues or fan blasting them.

They weren't past harvest and even if they were that's got nothing to do with that kind of damage. My plants may have some minor fade before harvest but are generally green and healthy until the day the scissors take them down. They were either overfed and fried, under fed to the point of total self cannibalism, locked out due to ph problems or root damage, or the victim of poor watering practices. Could be one or multiple of those issues, but a plant should never look like that no matter how close to chop.
 
Way overfed. 1500ppm at that stage with overly dry pots is a recipe for disaster. If you're in peat and like to dry the pots out you have to feed a third of that 500ppm.

You need to better your water regime and feed way less. Less is more not the other way around when it comes to Cannabis and feeding nutrients. If you have to flush you already failed by overfeeding.
 
High EC with dry back is a recipe for disaster so then you flush and the entire cycle begins again. Don't do dryback in coco and give it a good run through every couple weeks with a low osmolar solution to leech excess salts.

I read back on some of the OP's older posts and I think the OP is in soil so dry back shouldn't do that with an active microbe herd etc..... Anyway I'd probably chop the cola in pic 1.

Ok we need to get this back on topic for the poor OP who is legitimately in soil.

I agree about the entire coco madness thing. I'm not good enough to dial my input like that but I bet a lot of these guys here are this good. But me it's flush for my overage. Then again I'm not a great grower. I'm just addressing climate and spending way too much time smoking and hanging out here.

I'm north of you in Lancaster and we got a warm up preview this week.

They didn't say in this thread but they didn't say coco either. So I searched and found this. But the words drip nutrients got me thinking it wasn't coco so let's see what the OP says so we can be more helpful but yeah I immediately thought coco too by that pattern.

My temps have been 70-85.
humidity 70-80.

I do a light cycle of 18 on and 6 off.
I have a bag over them and they are in a dome.
Co2 bottle hanging. One fan is on to control temp and the in-line is on.

Utilizing a groline ph meter.
I calibrate it at both. It a dual meter.

Legit these are the first 2 plants that have done this.
some have minimal leaves start dying off around week 9. Everything else is looking amazing. I’ve attached pics of my last grow and harvest.
One thing I did notice was that I had some airy buds. Also the smell went away with some but that was due to over ripe.

I followed the same regime.also I’m crazy
I have a ton of notes that I took as well so just let me know what you need to know to help me out and I got it.

what's already said here, less is more with the nutes. a lot of things play into the grow. genetics (where you get your seeds from), watering practice (probably should run off even when your not feeding, and try a coco mix), environment control (VPD-airflow), you won't understand any of this until a few grows, just keep going.

I left for a week and I researched all this stuff about how to leave the plant and come back and it be in the healthiest condition.

I don’t know why, but in my head I felt that runoff=loss of nutrients(probably because I’m new) And I had read all this bad stuff about the plant sitting in runoff. So I just fed it again liked normal (so technically I think I overfed as well).

when I came back it looked good for a bit and then 3-4 days later it looked like this. Honestly I thought some beat the shit out of it.

The only thing I can think is the temp. I live in the IE. And it was cold when I left and I got back it was hot as shit. I immediately ran a ac.
Also the lights have been getting hot as well could of fried them.

I’m going to start feeding way less from now on. Try to lock in on specifics.
I honestly thought the grow was going good, I’m gonna start locking in so much more.
