im posting this to get ready for my first harvest. i got 3 plants 7 weeks since i switched to 12/12 i noticed alot of the white hairs or whatever they are turning brown/amber but i dont got a scope yet to look at the trichs. now the question is, i havent changed the nute cycle and most of the fan leaves on 2 plants are almost completely yellow. the leaves around the buds are green. now i know during flower when it becomes closer to harvest they turn yellow. but the hairs arent all brown yet they are still white.. is it normal? now another question is flushing. im using fox farms nutes today is the day they would get nutes so should i give them nutes? or just water? i can post pics if needed, but perfer not to because of the dark period if it has to be done ill do it the lights turn on soon anyways.

basically im asking this stuff to get ready for whats coming ahead. if anyone can help me out i would appreciate it. i got a 60-100x scope in the mail should be here any time. if i should just wait until then i will but i need opinions :P thank youbongsmilie

i dont know if this matters or not but, i cut a little bit off the 1 plant hung it up for 3 days and smoked it.. got me pretty stoned lol i could feel it in my eyes. all i wanted to do was sleep lol. when i cut it, the white hairs were white, after 3 days all were brown/amber.. it didnt smell though after 3 days was it because i didnt jar it?

Your plant is still packing on weight, hence the calyx's are still pushing out pistils. There are much better magnification devices on ebay for 3 or 4 bucks an free shipping. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jeweler-40X-25mm-LED-Loupe-Magnifying-Glass-Magnifier-/350351836263?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item519298c467#ht_5358wt_1002. This loupe is led lighted and perfect for tric observation.
so how much longer do you think? i know its hard to judge without pics

and i got this one already on the way

and should i start to flush? or not.. i was told to flush for 2 weeks. if i start now.. it will be 9 or 10 weeks when done.

ok wait whaaaaat? the leaves are yellow? add a little *LITTLE* nitrogen. just because its in flower doesnt mean it uses 0 nitrogen.

hairs turning browning? thats normal. you need to look at the trichomes

"havent changed the nute cycle" <------ huh? what are you feeding it?

I do not believe in the hokem of flushing a plant. There is no other plant, vegetable, herb, tobacco, etc that require "flushing". Its an old wives tale. There is not, nor has there ever been any scientific study, nor is there any way to quantify a reason for doing this.
