Just a thought that a lot of people aren't aware of ... the later you harvest your bud, the more 'sleepy,' couch-lock, body-type stone it produces ... bud harvested earlier will produce more of a clear, mental high and less body. There are other factors that go into play with that, strain being the most important, but the general rule stays the same. For example, we'll assume a perfect 50/50 hybrid gives 50% mental, sativa-like high and 50% body stone, indica type high. So, if the bud is harvested at the optimum date, that's what you should get. If it is harvested a little eary, you get more 'head high.' Harvest late and you get more body stone ... FYI: People that use cannabis as a sleep aid generally let it bloom a week or two longer than optimum so that it produces the best 'sleepy' bud. Spoken from experience.

Another FYI: That doesn't mean you can harvest earlier and earlier to get more of a mental lift - it's really just a comparison. Harvesting too early will sacrifice potentcy and yield, but bud harvested earliER than bud harvested later of the same plant type will give a more sativa-like high in comparison.
