week 8, leaves dieing

Hey all, very worried. first time i've gotten plants this far. Sunday was end of 8 weeks of flowering and all my leaves are turning yellow and drying out. Trichs are still clear. is this normal?? is it a sign almost time to harvest?? they are getting plenty of water so thats not it. i havent used nutes in 2 weeks also. here is a pic, see if you recognize problem.

normal, your plants are dying and you are cutting down on the nitrogen so the plant uses stored nitrogen in the leaves to survive.
 
yes, i have been on pure water the last week and a half to flush nutes out. hope thats the right thing...
