The average strain flowers for 9 to 10 weeks. So you are looking at probably the first week of October or the second. Dont worry about frosts unless you get a hard one.
Check back at the end of Sept and we can let you know when its chop time.

Yea 4 or 5 sounds about right. It's not an exact science like it is indoors when you flip the lights you can start counting.

I'm doing outdoor for the first time in Ontario, so not too far from you. I'm mostly concerned about rain = mold.
I think my timing for harvest will be mostly dependent on the overall look of the plant and the weather forecast of the coming week.

I need help to determine what stage my plants are in please. Thank you so much for any info. Also these where taking Sep 6.
Around week 4. Once you start to see trichome production start from bud and spread to leaves you know you aren't far out... Most Indica takes about 7-9 weeks, hybrids around 8-10 and Sativas from 10 to 14!!!! Read up on your strain and use they're information as guidelines but in general this is how it goes

Week 1 2 and 3 is called the cannabis stretch where it grows rapidly to support bud growth, you'll also see pistils poking out that are white

Week 4 5 your buds will start to grow from and around calyxes and fatten up

Week 6 7 buds will be bigger and you'll have more trichome

Week 8 and beyond your bud should have Amber and milky trichome and all your pistils will have shriveled and turned red. some leaves may purple. if you have a jewellers magnify glass you can check.

always harvest when your pots are dry, don't water for atleast 3-5 days before pulling and never in the morning dew or rain.. more moisture to get rid of

Yeah probably about half way or so. You’ll be done by mid October at latest I would think. The hours start reducing well below 12/12 and they mature fast at that point.
