week two in flower. and im thinking of transplanting into 5 gal.

guys i thought that this larry OG would do fine in the 3 gal. but its just growing and im thinking of transplanting into 5 gals. . should i just leave it? or transplant it??
coco /perlite mix 75/25% let me know what you think ??. black pot? grow bag? air pot?

You could cut out the base of the pot and place it over a bigger pot/ fabric bag. Ziggy my dude on 420 often uses that technique to avoid distubing roots during flower.
thats sounds good but all i have is a razor knife. and im afraid that might disturbed it even more. what does he use to cut off the bottom?

Not sure how he does it. You can find his posts over on 420 he posts plenty of pics and he is often in the high-brix section his name is Drziggy. If you catch up w him tell him vondank said hi.

pointis i dont want to get to week 6 and have them roots bound in the 3 gal coming out the drain holes . it has almost doubled in size in one week as this pic. shows
That's no problem. It should have doubled in size and it will probably continue to stretch untill week 3

so i left them in the 3 gal. and transplanted my next two to go in . the 5 gal, try to have a crop ready every 3 weeks, i have room for 6 plants , 8 if i want them nut to butt..

I just transplanted two purple haze plants three weeks into flowering. They're a little over three feet tall now and with two and a half months or so to go, two gallons wasn't gonna cut it. I transplanted 7 other plants in the the first and second week as they showed sex from 2 to 3 gallon pots and all are blooming just fine.

If you have to transplant during flowering, the earlier the better IMO.
