Weird Leaves on Buds

So, I'm about 6 weeks into flower on my single plant grow. I did a lot of LST and have about 16 tops on the plant. Last weekish I gave the plant a dose of epsom, as it started to show a Mg deficiency. It's grown under about 150watts of cfl, soil, and currently feeding it African Violet Bloom nutes. I did see a bit of burn recently so lowered the dosage.

For the last 4 or 5 days two of the buds have developed these weird leaves on the top of the buds. They're roundish and have little to no trichs. They seem to be growing very fast. The top of these buds also have very little pistil development. But the lower sections of the same buds look great. Lots of trichs and getting fat. It's really just the top that looks so strange.

Any ideas about what's going on with it? Thanks...

Yeah, first time I've gotten to this point. These two buds just seemed to develop strangely in the last few days and wasn't sure if it was normal. Thought maybe it was something off.

Hmmm could be in the genetics or could be a result of stress. Ive seen similar new growth when i exposed a plant to light during the night cycle.

Assuming you don't have crazy high heat or exposed them to light during the night cycle i would say its genetics or a result of the nutes/epsom.

Nice looking plant otherwise :P

nice training, on the leaves might be too much nitrogen, looks like they're a lil burnt at tips in 1st pic and very dark green, and mutated growth(usually twisted leaves it seems) which is sign of too much N
