Thanks. Yes I’ve was having some nute issues, being a first time grower and all, but finally learned that less is best. Thank you for commenting.
The longer I've grown the stronger and stronger my nute solutions have gotten, you start off paranoid, then very cautious, after a while you're giving more than recommended, you just gotta test each strain out and push er to their limit and find out what is optimal for each strain, if there getting enough light they will eat and drink a bunch.

There is no set number of fingers on a pot plant, as mentioned it is genetics.
Let grow as is, no more cuts, and provide more light.
Water every 3 days with lite nutes, and all will be good. :)
Thanks. I’ll definitely watch the nutes, and yes more light would probably help too. She looks a little different but seems healthy so I’m happy with her. Thanks a for your comment, much appreciated.

View attachment 4384809 Hi everyone‍♀ I’m new here and and this is my first time posting.
I’m a first time grower, my plant is 5 weeks into flowering. It was given to me, unfortunately I have no information about the strain so I went into my grow not knowing anything about her except that I figured out she was a clone because of her uneven nodes. Anyways I took a clone of her and the clone is almost 6 weeks old. My question is about the clone. why would she have all 1 and 3 finger large leaves? Is this normal?
I'm a massive newb compared to these other posters, so take my words with a TON of salt. Lol. You revegged it- I did the same about 6 weeks ago. Here's what mine look like.....

Gods Gift. Just IMHO, but the things do that to me every time I reveg. Don't sweat it. If you let it veg long enough, it will pop out of it; and grow normal leaves.

BTW- I know mine looks like ass. Major ass. I just swapped over to Mega Crop. I blasted it on the first feeding, and fried it. It's been a learning process. Like everything else.... Lol

Oh thanks. Yes I’ve noticed she’s sucking up water like crazy. And true, after I nute burned her momma I got real paranoid about how much nutes to give. I’ve been giving half the recommended dosage because I don’t want to burn em again.

Yes most definitely dont take my last post to mean you should start banging the nutes to er, get good then get fast, start slow.

Why re-veg?
That's not needed, and essentially makes an 8 week plant into a 15 week plant.
Oh, and your plant is a mutant, and that's just the way it is.
Your leaf structure will never change.
Good luck

Oh wow:o Yep looks kind of like my clone. Ok I don’t feel so bad now. lol. Sorry
True, maybe it’ll start growing the 5 finger leaves again. Going to give her two more weeks before putting her into flowering.
I fried her momma too when I first started growing, poor girl has been through the ringer. But is in in flowering now and should be ready for harvest in 4 weeks... Thanks so much for commenting and for sharing your pics. :leaf:

@kittencat I'll just point out that doesn't look like a full on reveg. I reveg somewhere around ten plants a month. I've seen them do everthing in the book as far as a reveg is concerned. The only way would be if it wanted to flower so bad, had the gibberellins built up to high levels, mixed with an environmental stressor..... What light source and cycle did you have it on during cloning? I have seen old clones do that. But those leaves don't scream reveg to me at all. I still see pH fluctuations, it's the twists in the leaves.

I had her in 12 dark hours the first two weeks. And yes thank you, I definitely have to get the ph on track. I have a kit now so I can start testing. At first I didn’t realize how important the levels are, but now I’m thinking that was a issue with the clone and her mom. Thank you for your advice.

I have a strong feeling its genetic macs, do you notice how she has those rounded puffy leaves in there, genetic mutation imo.

Lol ok I take it back, it reveged. I'm sure you'll get the pH squared away soon too. Good stuff.

I know it can be hard to sort through all the differing opinions, Jimdamick and macsnax are probably the two most experienced growers on this thread so you may wanna head their advice.
Thanks buddy, I don't care to be held in a certain position. I'm just happy to be growing, learning, and helping others along the way. Always learning, always getting better.

You want to make sure to keep a veg light cycle when cloning. A lot of clones that have been passed around a lot are ready to flower at the drop of a hat. So you got lucky there, you could have been in for a lengthy reveg. Like 5 days 12/12 and there's already a good bit of pistils. 18/6 for veg and cloning is good, let's them have a few hours rest as well.

Yes I am an advocate for giving them 6 hrs rest aswell, it's only natural.

Thanks. I’m definitely going to take your advice and the new clone I took from my 6 week old clone is getting 18/6. She’s over a week old now and Still alive so she must be rooting.
