There could be a number of factors that cause a flowering plant to bolt and try to establish re vegetative growth; lighting, not raising lights, overfeeding, not having the proper light cycle, not flushing/finishing the flowering cycle... bad genetics (unlikely)

I've rarely seen it, if a plant is finished, but hasn't been cut down, it might do this. Especially if the light cycle is not 12/12.

Instead of digging up ancient unanswered threads start a new one so we can figure out which factor might be the cause. If Google brought you here, hopefully this answers your question.

They both look stretchy to me. Let better one finish if she will or hasn't. Depends on location I'd throw it outside myself let her fig it out. Dead rots you get funk plant reacts by getting away.

Thanks for opinions. To put more wattage, lumens per m2, I put one 85w cool CFL (6400k) besides 2700K 85W CFL 4weeks ago . They both luminate the top of the weird looking plant. Do you think maybe this causes the new growth? And finally what do you think if I just cut em off? To prevent growing into lights...
