I'm sure it's been asked a thousand times before, but I don't feel like doing a search and sorting through hundreds of posts cause I'm being lazy tonight.
I heard before that you can add "flavorings" to your res starting at about 2 weeks prior to harvest. That your plant will pick up these flavors and give a slight taste to the bud. So my question is, if I were to put some banana, strawberry, root beer, vanilla etc. extract in the rest a few weeks before harvest would it get the buds to taste like whatever extract you put in? Is this even possible? Even if the flavor isn't there I wonder if it would enhance the smell. How cool would it be to have some buds that smell like banana.
Many of these designer strains out there like blueberry, strawberry cough, etc. don't even taste or smell like the name so it's a big let down. People come up with these names that doesn't even match the strain, just because they want a strain with an awesome name.
Maybe this can be an experiment for me to look more into later in the future. Anyone have any experience with doing this?
