I do have a lumitek ballast and I am using super lumen mode currently. I will par test the light output both with the super lumen mode on, and in regular 1000w mode so we will know soon enough whether the extra output is there or not.

Wow.... I have multiple BS UFOs and was wondering what was best, Area-51, or hydro grow(aka Pro lights) in terms of GPW.. But now I know it's blackstar vs hydro grow

At this very moment if I had to choose one it would be the Blackstar Chrome! The buds are looking by far the best in quality, but that can also be due to a few changes I have made in my nutes as well. All I know is that for the first 6 weeks of the grow I was NOT running CO2 in the garden and these buds are definitely already bigger and denser than any previous harvest with the same genetics.. I can only imagine how they will fatten up these last few weeks. I haven't even started to flush yet because they are still growing so strong and its day 58!

I was looking into bags of CO2 like exhale(homegrown shit) the only thing I have trouble understanding is, if I don't have intake, just an exaust, to the point where I'm takin more air out then is in there(through the carbon filter) like it should be. What I don't understand is if I had CO2 in the tent, wouldnt it be sucked out of the tent as soon as released? Resulting in.. Well, useless? Just wanted your thought on that

I'm not too sure what they will do with the UFOs. I'm really not too in the loop with the direction of Blackstar. All I know is what Sean will tell me when I call so I would say your best bet to figure it out would be to call and ask.

My personal opinion on the exhale bags are they don't produce enough ppm of co2 to make a difference in the grow/yield. If you have an inline fan running air out of your tent, then yes the co2 will likely be sucked out pretty quickly. CO2 shouldn't have any negative effect on a pressured room though.

Nice big buds in the vids ... I just read you are doing a hps vs hps I never thought there would be a difference between magnetic and digital other than power consumption.
Thanks Endur0! Glad to see you on the thread. I think the bigger pots better simulates being put into the ground. My philosophy is I want the roots to grow freely as much and as soon as possible... and as a bonus I dont have to deal with all the transplanting bs lol. I'm curious if the "super lumen" mode on the digital will effect the yield at all. The grow is about half way through though so another 4-5 weeks and we should know.
