I just know my oldest...he has a big mouth...and likes anything that gives him an edge...
He tried selling a porno mag at school when he was in the 2nd grade...
so you gotta watch him...They are all a wily little bunch...but I love them way more than the pot... so it has to go...
I feel like I would only get some probation if I was caught, but I don't need that...for real.

He was blissfully naive and unaware until just recently...
You know what made him recognize the plants? The freaking facebook game hemp tycoon, that he wasn't supposed to play anyway...Damn you Hemp Tycoon!

Some judges say aww they're kids and free to go...some judges say they are miscreants and undeserving of normal adult lives due to childlike misdeeds done in youth...

I've been smoking weed since I was 10. Used to steal it from my dad and I'm sure he knew cause potheads don't just forget how much weed they have on hand. It sucks that you feel that you have to stop your grow. It's your kid, have you had any conversations with him about smoking weed? I don't have kids, but I do have many nieces and nephews. The oldest nephew I have is 13 and I'm apparently the person they all look up to. "I have no idea as to why" But I found out that he wants to try smoking weed and I have no problem with it. Hell, I may even give him his first puff.

We all know that weed isn't bad for you and has many beneficial properties. No need to be ashamed of it, but I understand where your coming from. You don't want to take the chance in your kid going back to school and talking to his friends about what you got going on and then have a bigger issue to deal with.

Don't you just miss the good ol days when we were kids and knew how to keep a secret?

I to stop growing when my daughter got to age 5, and I was going through child custody''with ex''.

I started grow again in 2011, and daughter is cool with it, she it 13 now.

I also don't lie to anyone about my use, and my kids know what I do.I feel that lying to them would be the worst thing I could do about my use of marijuana.And for the ex, well she can't do shit because my daughter tells me all the time, how much she is glade to be with me then her mom.She don't even really come around no more??or help me, that bitch!

My son 20 and i were always tight, he was and is on a college shooting team and shot on other teams since he was 11 they drug test the kids once a month so he never got into it at all. I am single father the mother only comes once a week for dinner, so she, my daughter, lives here and is here 24/7 I want her to make her own choices so I keep it away from her. She knows I smoke but I dont make it apear to be cool at all, I only do it at nigt before bed cause I cant sleep and ambien is bullshit. Dont want her to think it is ok or cool at her age.

You are doing the right thing, OP.

And I mean that on many levels.

You kept it a secret as long as you could.

And it's probably the best thing for the kid to see a parent behave 'responsibly.' So it will ultimately be good for the kid. Most important.

Second, it will remove you and your family from legal risk. What with that damnable D.A.R.E. program brainwashing our children. And CPS itching to make your life a living hell.

Third, it will remove you from illegal risk. By that I mean burglary, robbery, or home invasion. Kids blab. And Junior might shoot off his mouth in front of the wrong asshole.

However, there is no reason to get rid of the equipment because it is not illegal.

Grow herbs, flowers, and tomatoes (in winter). And when the time is right you may want to reconsider the grow.

But sit Junior down first and explain to him that although what you are planning is technically illegal, you believe Prohibition laws are immoral and unjust. And ask him if he will keep his trap shut.

But that might take years, so until then....

Homegrown winter tomatoes are awesome!

I called the cop and asked wtf man, really, he claims the realtor wanted to send a sign to the rest of the kids. Such bullshit, I take her up there she goes through the whole system, prints, photos the works. They walk her through the yard in cuffs so she can sell all the kids in jail etc. Then we meet with prob officer and she asks a bunch of questions then releases her with not comunity service no prob nothing. I LOVE MY KIDS BUT HAVING KIDS SUCKS LOL Now she has a record ugh.

I am not an attorney, but I was married to one; and I know several.

A For Sale sign on a house is a public invitation to inspect it. No realtor is required to inspect the grounds and the exterior. Inside the house is another story.

Unless they broke a lock to get into the back yard, or scaled a fence to beat a lock; there is no criminal trespass. Only Minor in Possession of Tobacco Products.

On the good side, juvenile records are sealed after adulthood.

But that may not help your daughter unless she wises up real quick.

I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully the judicial system doesn't mess with her too much. Seems to have a way of making dumb teenage mistakes into lifetime hassles.

I know the equipment is legal, and I will keep it if I can't find someone willing to give me back my trim when they harvest...they can keep whatever comes off the plants, but I need the leaves...
But if nobody I know is willing to do such a thing then I will just throw myself into peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes...It sounds like I am going to have to kill a bunch of plants, but I might be able to have someone I know that grows outdoors take them...I supplied most of their plants and seeds for this years grow, and I am pretty sure that they will share a good bit with me...so it might all work out alright...

Keep the equipment and grow/sell peppers. I sell extra ghost chillis on craigslist all the time. Even sell lots of cuttings for 5 bucks a piece.

Hmmm...doesn't sound too bad...especially since I also have a cloner that will be just sitting there...I just need a way to still get some MJ every once in a bit...but it looks like I just have to kill everything and switch to veggies...which is alright I guess... I mean I like to eat veggies, but it just isn't quite nearly at all the same thing...lol

See that is all I need...lol. I actually would just like the trim back, but alas I'm not going to be able to find anyone to take the stuff...think a friend will outdoor my vegging plants with his for me...
I am also going to try and see if he might give me his trim this year, since I supplied the majority of the plants and seeds for his grow this year...I figure if the trim from 3 medium sized indoor plants gets me enough to last til more plants are done...then trim from a much larger outdoor grow should last me a lot longer...so it might all work out. at least for the next few months...

a fair deal, indeed. on another note, my friends' kids grew up knowing, but it wasn't discussed, and all three have turned out well..........like stellar. i am torn on the subject, and my daughter knew. she turned out well also. bitchy.........but well.

I'm not so much worried that will warp them...I don't see why it matters what I water and prune once they are sleeping or what not...it is just that he will never ever be able to keep it to himself...never.... which sux...but I know this...I don't know how you teach secret keeping skills, but he hasn't got not a one...
