Well shit... my plants were awesome until now!

so my plants are vegging and are absolutely think and bushy and ready to bloom in a few weeks.

They haven't had any problems until now, and everything has remained the same until I added tarantula powder from GH (the correct dose).

The nutes are:

GH Zen Grow A + B
GH B-52 Fertilizer Booster
A generic Rhino Skin silica nute (can't remember if I actually used this one this last nute change)
Tarantula Powder

Added the nutes yesterday and today the leaves look like the photo attached. Looks like a severe nute burn...

I'm wondering if I should just take half of the nuted liquid out and replace with water to dilute and see how that goes.

Suggestions?

Don't you mean Advanced not GH and isn't Tarantula supposed to be used at the beginning of the flowering stage (12/12 lighting) ? Are all your nutes
using the new ph perfect formula or RU using the old formula? In any case, flush and see if AN's guarantee holds !! PH level?

It's only been a day in the pic , thats not enough time for it to show an actual "burn" , but that is an severe reaction I'd say it's on its way.Flush Flush and Flush .

Myself personally only use basic ferts and never go over 1/6 recomended for dirt per gallon of water. I hate it when my wife piles my plate up to high, it kills my appetite. I'd rather have two smaller portions than one large one. I get the same amount of food and it's more enlightening while eating. Give your plants the correct amount of food as they need it. If your plants were like me and you heaped the plate you're liable to get the plate chucked across the room!

I'm just old and cranky and I hate to waste food. If I can't finish what's on my plate it goes in the garbage, if it's still in the pot it can be left for later. Feed your plants only what they need, when they need it!

man let me guess this is soil right? i see so many problems like this with soil, its horrible and flushing is horrible to even have to do, the only time i worry about flushing is a week or 2 before i harvest just to keep my buds nice and clean. hydroponics all the way!!

i can assure you yes you need to put it on some clean water, ive only done this once the first time i grew with one plant and never made the mistake of adding too many things to my water period again after that, from the list you have for soil it just sounds like way too much. hydro can handle a lot because its simply mainly water, you have to add all the nutrients but soil is whole different story and i really hate using soil its such a huge hassle and pain in the ass. ugh powder too just erks me, ive always used liquid nutrients i just follow the calculator on GH's site and it has never failed me, i use Nova Grow and Bloom, Liquid KoolBloom, Floralicious Plus and Florablend. loving em, havent changed yet, i want to try their new vegan products though i bet those are good for your babies.

They are some thick bastards that are pretty robust. They are hydro.

Youre right, Advanced nutrients not general hydro.

Either way, I've flushed at 25% of that previous solution and I can't see any new damage. I ran the ebb and flow a few times to help drain the old solution out. Seems like no new "burn" at all and hopefully within a day or two they'll bounce back!

I'll post photos of them all when they bounce back!

Thanks everyone for the help. I think it was a combo of high nutes and the shock of the tarantula powder? Everything else was the same.

What's really surprising is these plants are the 2nd level of a trickling down ebb and flow, the top level is 100% fine and only about half and inch taller but fine. Random!

Looks like the onset of Ph fluxuation. A few days will tell for sure it the margins continue to 'brown' in a blocking pattern...

phew thank god your doing hydro otherwise you would be screwed. odd nutrient mix, you should stick to liquid nutrients since your using hydro mate. oh its advanced nutrients, never mind most of their stuff is powder. well glad to hear they are looking better.
