What 1,000 bulb brand is the best????

What brand and Spectrum do you guys suggest for best flowering results? I have a HTG 1,000 6 " cooled hood that has mh/hps bulbs. Are they cheap bulbs or does it not matter. I would assume some have to be much better then others. Whats the secret?​

i also use eye hortilux, but with a six hundred, no diff really but im serious its the best bulb, ive gone thru three bulbs once in a grow because they were shitty, then i bought the hort, ive had it since, maybe 4 or 5 grows still a very good bulb although i should change it very soon, alwys a good backup tho

I have a question though. There is a whole bunch of spectrums for different brands.

So there is the EYE HORTILUX.


There is the Agrosun Gold SPectrum which gives both blue and red spectrum. Still go with the EYE Hortilux?


Then there is the Agrosun Red SPectrum bulb.


Between this and a co2 system what do you think it will increase the yield by on 12 plants? I am currently just purchasing sparkling water for co2 control.

I own a hortilux...but I'm betting just like HDMI cables the best bulb is the one you can get at the cheapest price in the correct spectrum of light. Only so many people can make these bulbs. I'm sure a majority are just rebranded. I will say Hortilux makes their own bulbs to their own specs. They're owned by some crazy large japanese lighting company.

thats a dope chart, HEY thats one thing 400 watters have over 600's, they have a shitload better lifespan

my eye hortilux has never let me down, son agro has twice, as well as a few other brands, one time i went to a music festival and my gf called me sat morning tellign me my light never came on and my plants look like theyre dieing, they were fuckign 8 weeks flower, to say the least i was pissed, i had her switch a cfl on them til i got home and threw my 150 in there until i could overnight an EYE hort to my house, fuckign bullshit son agro, really ruined my hour....anyways just my .02

I own a eye, but I'm inclined to say the best bulb is the cheapest bulb you can get in the right spectrum of light.

One of 2 things will happen with all bulbs...
1. They burn out prematurely.
2. They get replaced for being too old (i.e. 6-9 months).
