Why do my babyes always look overwatered? Im watering every 2-3 days, 100ml/pot with just a dripp of RootJuice. Their color is pretty nice green but they got very hangy leafs, any suggestions what im doing wrong?
I tryed to move the light back some, didnt help..
Heres a picture, might help... 20101129_001.jpg PS. this is 2 days after watering.

I would add some more soil to those pots and let them really dry out before watering again. I lift the pots to decide when to water. When they are light as a feather they get water/nutrients. You have to try not to love them to death.

seems like the roots arent getting enough oxygen. Just let the soil dry completely. try to only water twice a week no more.

Im right about to repot, there has been no growth the last 2-3 days... which indicates i should repot, yes??
Although i see no roots at the drainingholes?

I only water when the soil is so dry that it pulls away from the pot, should i still wait a day when that happends?

soaking then completely drying out can cause root issues, especially in small pots, re-pot and try to keep just moist not wet, should sort them babies out:)

Too dry too wet and the leaves will droop. With young plants you need to water less but more often so the root zone does not become saturated depriving the plant of oxygen. Water them on a daily basis but give only enough water to keep the soil from shrinking away from the side of the pot. It sounds like the root system has not developed enough to support the plant possibly from over/under watering. Plants are patient, people are not. Don't love your plants to death! Good Luck...

Big thnx too all of you guys! Very good information for a newbie like myself!!

I'll repot tonight, water a bit and leave em bee for some time.. Should i water the soil in the new pots before or after transplanting?

Before transplanting let the pot dry a little. Not bone dry just dry enough that it needs water then transplant. From where you are now I would pot up to 1 gallon. Water until it starts to drip from the bottom of the pot. A larger pot and there is too much soil for the plant which easily leads to over watering because the plant does not have the root mass to use all that water before the oxygen is depleted. For indoor grows use a light airy soil that drains well. Do not use premixed soils which have nutrients added by the manufacturer. With young cutting (clones) and seedlings just the soil can burn the plants. With established plants no problem, they will grow. However, these added nutrients can interfere with your nutrient regime. :weed:

It's better to pot up in incriminates rather than one huge leap, reason stated in my last post. If your in say a 4" pot then go to 1 gal, 3 gal, 5 and so on. It's easier to avoid over watering and nutrient burn when the pot is not too large for the plant. Generally speaking most growers pot up in early vegetative and again when transitioning to bloom. Don't let this be written in stone, read the plant and do what it wants. Good luck! :weed:

I see difference mostly by looking at the small one, and the bottom right corner one.
