What are the Pros&Cons of the cool tube?

What would be the best recomendation of HPS for a 4x6x2? I do my research by id like to hear from you guys who've been there. The mind can sometime be arrogant with judgement but id rather be humble. The mind will say 1000w will get you this or that and i wouldnt want to go sticing a 1000w hps off in a 4x6x2 you know what i mean? Then theres the 250w-400w- and the 600w. I want everything to according to how it should be considering what im working with. Oh and guys im 36 years old and married if that helps...lol Still new to it and first grow. Ive been vegging for 2 months and excited about flipping.

Lol bless you brother. Im still on the trail to the promised lanscape. Ready to experience flower stage and looking for the best option hps output and setup according to my tent size and 3 lady grow.

I use:

6" Blockbuster reflectors from sunlight supply. I like the footprint, perfect square pattern
5x5 Gorilla tents
Galaxy AMP ballasts 400-600-1000 switchable

I started out with 1000w and it was too much for me to handle starting out. The 600w works great for me and the Blockbuster reflectors work with 400w and up. I really like this combo, it gives me flexibility and during winter I use the 1000w to heat part the house by recycling the waste heat.

All expenses factored in (Nutes, electricity etc...) it costs me $1.25 to grow 1 gram of bud. Don't know if that is comparable to anyone else but I am happy with that price, much cheaper than buying it.
