What are the TRICKS to SELLING?

Lets say i started selling... at this stage i could probably only pay for a quarter-ounce (50 bucks in my area) right now,, and for selling completely legit i would only make 20 bucks profit from that quarter (if i didnt smoke a bunch of it)

would being a rip-off for a bit be an option? lol

i can see how large scale selling could be good profit, but how do you start off selling without ending up smoking your product??? (for example)

BASICALLY i want to know what are the tricks of the trade for selling weed?? haha

sorry if this question seems like common sense but i just want to get some opinions.. thanks guys :)
 
no offense, but selling is not for someone who has trouble getting weed for themself. Or someone who doesn't know what to do with themselves when they don't have weed.

Grow it, it's cheaper and you can still get high.

first of all sorry for the misunderstanding but i didnt necesarily mean I wanted to start selling, i just have a lot of friends who do sell and in many cases it seems like they're doing it for nothing because it doesnt seem like they're getting much from it

and second: if i did start selling, i want to know how to make profit so i could always have my weed ;)

ps. i dont really have trouble finding weed for myself :(
 
If you only got enough for a quarter ask one of your friends if he could front you something so you can sell for him and once you make enough for a lb cut him out and go straight to the connect.
 
^^^^^ exactly .......s has it down. Get a front sell legit bags of good nugs and limit the amount you smoke.
 
there is no money in marijuana at least to were it will tottally change your life. as a man in california once told me grow up and do some coke.
 
Grow your own, or make friends with a grower and the "how to make profit from selling weed" changes to "how much profit to make from selling weed"
 
Let me make it easy on you, drugs sell itself. You can get fire and sell it for $20 a gram but you're gonna pay more for your product. You can sell other good quality lower end product for $15 a gram but you're gonna pay a lot less for it. Sell both but always lean towards the shit with more profit margin. Get you're feet wet with a zone. Don't bite off more than you can chew. That's how you get your ass kicked
 
You buy a product, you add a markup, you sell for profit.I could get really technical and talk about how consuming your stock instead of selling it will lower your profit and possibly lead to loss :lol:

This thread has to be a joke,anybody who smokes & wants to sell for profit but needs help figuring out the business model is one of two things,choice #1 is that he is a 13 year old,choice #2 a guy who recently immigrated from planet Krypton.

My vote is the first option.

My advice is to forget about dealing until you can afford to attend business school ,after you finish high school of course.
 
First of all smoke less.. The reason one would feel like they've made nothing after buying a quarter for 50 dollars and selling it is probably because he smoked more then 2 grams and actually aquired a loss.

As someone above said it's all about the profit margin, don't just try and get the best bud possible. Try and get the best DEAL possible on whatever quality bud is available. Have cheaper prices then your competitors, they make more in one sale and leave people feeling ripped off then those people become steady customers to you and you make more money over time selling as much product as possible.

Lastly, whoever said weed sells itself is wrong haha, you can have the dankest highgrade butmost people do not fein for mj and if they do can always find another petty dealer if your price isn't right.
