If its a herm sack open it up OUTSIDE THE ROOM and inspect it for what will look like lil tiny bananas with tiny balls inside aka pollen. They might even burst the pollen when you start messing with them. Be careful not to get that into your room. If its a calyx it will have white hairs and sometimes the calyx is still closed and the hairs are still inside. Looks like a swollen calyx to me ill check again tho after i post. Naw.. no fishin for compliments here. This is only my second grow. I have never seen a plant goto seed, never seen a hermi etc.
I honestly have no idea how my buds compare to others. I know I did some trimming on Friday of some of the small branches from the center. Little tiny buds & what not. I smoked a bit of it Sunday. Tasted green of course but I spend 2 hours enjoying Inception with the BEST head buzz I have ever had! Woo HOO!

I was wondering about harvesting. Most people would say leave them for another 2-3 weeks type thing. If I like the high I get at this stage, chopping now would be fine? Or will I be loosing a pile of yield?

Everytime I go in the case I come out stinking like fuel or something. I grew Norther Lights last time & it wasnt like this. Bubbalicious has some serious stench to it. I took some Macro pictures & I guess the lens touched the week. My 13 year old was using the camera & noted that it still smelled rotten (The dog got sprayed in the summer)

I do appreciate the nice pep talks though. I have no friends that smoke & I know no one that grows so I'm not really part of the "community" so its nice to hear that I'm doing good (from the pictures) plus it pretty potent stuff. Both plants I've grown blew away any stuff I have ever bought. I should hand some out locally & get some read back.

Get a magnifying glass and keep an eye on the trichomes. If you like the head high, harvest when 50% are milky white. For body buzz, wait till 50% are amber. You could always give it another week or two just to see how the yield is coming along.

if its wgat i think u r talking about iits a swollen calyx. a good thing they will all swell to that size giving u buds

Day 30 of flower I see the same exact thing. What did your turn out like ?
