Tractor Supply always has corn. There's A brewing supply place next town over. 10 gallon still.....my understanding will produce 2 quarts of 140-160 proof. I'm going to get it with an electric burner so I don't have to buy propane.

Misfire is probably a simple fix. New plug, new wire. Fuel level sensor could be all kinds of different shit, from what I'm reading. New fuel pump or sensor which is probably attached to the fuel pump.
