At v4 minutes 23 seconds, thats Jimi, playing Soprano Flute, and he is given credit for it, on the original Album Release. Jimi also plays Harpsichord, and Violin on Burning of the Midnight Lamp. This was also the first song Jimi recorded with a Wah pedal. He had heard Frank Zappa use one, 2 weeks before, so he went out, and got one.
