I'm right there with you dude. It's like we are the same being. The last one I enjoyed was Pump Up The Valuuum... I was disappointed with War On Errorism, and didn't buy any more after that...

However... lately, they've been coming up a LOT... love this live one they did at occupy LA:

I LOOOOOVED "I heard they suck live..." when I was younger. Listened the shit out of that one.

I didn't get into them until high school (1997-2001) so I got into their entire catalog at once. I thought there was only a few good songs on their first 3 albums, but white trash, punk in drublic, and pump up the valuum were mind blowing. The other albums were pretty good too. I hope these last 2 are at least as good as the war on errorism, which was also good. If it's as good as their other albums I will actually purchase the cd and support the band.

Dude, between the simpsons references and everything else you're describing, you could have grown up in my inner circle of friends. "So Long and Thanks For All The Shoes" is also AWESOME. I agree that their early work was unapproachable... too harsh for me. I think when War On Errorism came out I was just moving on by then and was more into other genres/styles.

Nice, the first song on coaster starts with a quote from alex baldwin in glengarry glenross. One of the best movies ever.

I'm mediocre at a lot of things, but to name a few that I can think of atm: rolling joints/blunts, taking large shots, dancing, being mean to someone's face, and last but definitely not least, trolling.

Hahaha... I am mediocre at all those things too, B. Though I roll a decent blunt. Joints, fuggedaboudit. Taking large shots, man, I'm really bad at that. I cringe like a little bitch every time.
