What are you planning to do with your stimulus money?

Here's a DAA (Dumb Ass Attack) for you. Kept getting the "status unavailable:" message but there should be no reason on their list why this is happening. Turns out I didn't put the dashes in the SS#. Entered the bank stuff but my check was/is going to be mailed first week in May.

Do you have overdue bills to pay? Are you planning on making a purchase? Saving it? Investing it? Forfeiting it?

I am torn. I've been waiting for Porter Cable to make a cordless blower to add to their cordless lineup. But with the acquisition of Craftsman it appears Porter Cable is now dead in the water. So I was thinking of investing in a new power tool suite. But I can't decide if I want to join the camps of Dewalt or Makita. I like Makita tools better for reliability but I think Dewalt for longevity. I'm worried Makita being their own brand will eventually maybe be bought and fazed out. Just like my Porter Cable and my Hitachi before that. I do feel lucky that these are the tough decisions I have to make in regards to my stimulus. I realize to some this is just a bandaid on a bullet hole.
Buying cannabis seeds! what else

I was setting up an account at an online bank and they had a note in parenthesis to enter the dashes. The 10w light bulb clicked in my head and I went back and checked the note at the end of the IRS question:
ssnote.jpg
which I do remember reading and you would ASSume you just enter the number, but there are 2 extra spaces available for input besides your SS# so...
Wonder how many other people fell for this?

edit: besides jerry :hump:
edit, edit: and sunny!

Lol. The first time I checked my status I did what we all do. Numbers only, birthdate too. Guess I did it right when it counted

Glad everyone is getting their checks. Scratching my head at all the people planning on buying toys. What about people like me. Third attempt at disability in almost 5 years. Ebay and light handyman side jobs have kept me close to an average income. Both gone for over a month. What about us? I have no state or government checks monthly.
