What Broswer...Why?

I just started using FireFox like 2 weeks ago...Feels like Im brand new all over again.

What makes FireFox safer? I know you can add a bunch of addons...which are cool. But what else makes it safer than IE?

Firefox is safer because it is open-source, meaning that once an exploit is found, it will be fixed much faster because everyone is allowed to look at the code (or what it is made of)
