What CBD breeders you guys going for in 2026?

I’ve grown Abacus and Cherry Wine from Monarch Hill Hemp in WI. (Because I assumed that if it grows well in Wisconsin, it would grow well where I live.)
Purchased Lifter, Pineapple Express, Super Sour Space Candy, White (CBG) from Jaxon, Rogue Origen and Tweedle farms and then grown more Pineapple Express from bag seed. I thought there was more but I can’t find my invoices right now….

Also grown Auto Critical (5%THC/5%CBD) and Dutch Treat (4%THC/8%CBD) from crop king

FOR ME : Any of the CBD and especially the CBG have a calming and energizing buzzy effect for daytime use. The Auto critical or Dutch treat are good for relaxing and enjoying a good movie or sleeping. Then I have other THC flower if I want to get high.… But I don’t really get high more than maybe a few times a month on average with occasional ebbs and flows in my usage.
From Monarch Hills, I purchased a quarter ounce of Abacus seed for $25 and a handful of other feminized seed for one dollar per seed.

It looks like monarch hills only has feminized abacus seed on the menu right now… I bought regular abacus seed. Also, if you look at the flower that they are selling… I would imagine if you call them that they might be able to accommodate you with seed from any of the flower varieties that they sell. It does appear as though their business is growing and specialize more in their extractions

With Croptober on the horizon in Oregon, last years flower is probably going on sale and I have seen Rogue/Jaxon selling old crop for as low as $65 to $85 per POUND in which case I think it is more prudent to buy flower (maybe also get some bag seed) rather than growing it out yourself…. That way you can experiment and see what you like.

I personally vape (although sometimes I erroneously use the word “Smoke” ) sometimes, but mostly i decarboxylate my flower in the oven, grind it into a powder and fill capsules. I understand this is less efficient than extracting into an oil, but it works just fine for me.
