What city's do not give your medication back?

I'm curious what city's have harassed you, or stopped you from getting your medication back after it was seized, or what ever the reason is, I have no problems getting it back from the Saginaw police dept, but ogemaw sheriff dept says they don't give MM back and they state they don't have too(<3 mmmp), Pretty sad it seems you have to get a lawyer or take them to court to attempt to get your medication back, which varies from city to city, makes no sense.

I've also heard of Rose city police dept doing the same thing.

What I don't get is why they can violate state law but not following it, and stating they can do what they want, how do you get them to enforce the MMMP act which states nothing can be seized or forfeited? If the police dept won't do nothing, is there a judge or higher power that would force them to follow the law? I know I heard something coming up a bill which would require police/state officials to follow the law with mmmp or they will risk getting criminally charged(Anyone know what happen to this?).

The attendant said she smelled weed on him, called the cops, and they took his shit. A couple of really nice glass pieces too. They refused to give him back his shit, even though he had his card. Jerks. that was my weed .

They don't have cops take drug screens?

My son went to jail in Kent county for open container something so stupid. He signed his property over to me I have a card as well the jail gave me his bong and pipe but lost the meds.

I get what he was saying now, "trumps" being the keyword in the OP. Federal law can take over State law but not vice versa BUT the Fed can NOT force the State to enforce a law. Period. I'm glad I had this misunderstanding, it caused me to do even more research into how the laws work

Funny thing is I bet that same gas station sells glass pipes,grinders,papers etc

You simply don't allow them to take what is your's...it's honestly that simple. Why do you need to take them to court? Let them take you to court, and lose.

I hate to say it but if a cop takes it, what you going to do struggle it from him? Some city's seem uptight about things and seem to believe they don't have to give it back but the MMMP states otherwise, glad no one enforces the laws!

They can't forcibly take it from you. You just don't give it to them, and you state the laws which protect that right. There's nothing they can do.

They can DO whatever the fuck they please. Not trying to flame or troll here when I say, by looking at your post, it's obvious you haven't had many run-ins with Johnny Law. Now whether or not they will get away with whatever they want is a different story.
