What deficiency is this?

Hey pros,

At first I thought it was Nitrogen deficiency. However, after adding some nitrogen solution to the reservoir; I have not seen any improvement. Now I think it might be a Potassium or Magnesium deficiency. About a month ago; I changed out the nutrient solution and I started having problems. The Plants growth has stunted. The roots are not growing out of the net cups and look withered.

PPM is at 800 (Using MaxiGro 10-5-14)
PH is 5.5-6.0
Heat is at 71 degrees (Using real expensive LED lights)

I need to get these roots growing again!

Oh no....I hope they can recover

I do not believe that any lights are hitting the res. Why, is that a bad thing if light hits the res? About 2 weeks ago; I did have a major PH problem. The power failed due to a lightning storm and ALL the PH up and the PH Down solution from my automated PH Adjuster all went into the reservoir at the same time. I did not notice that this happened until 6 hours after the storm and I changed the res immediately. The PH was at a 6 when I noticed, but the PPM was at 1.3k.

Do you think this could be a severe case of nute lockout?

Do you think this might be a potassium or mag def since the dead areas are along the sides of the plant?

any advice on how to save my girls will be greatly appreciated!

Are you uysing H202 ? the roots are too brown and they were nute burnt at 1300ppm. Just get it back to 800 and hope not too much damage is done and get some H202. Next grow consider flood and drain or soil ,as you can see dwc is unforgiving.

Thank you so much for helping!

Do you think I should try to h202 the roots. I am not familiar with how to to this....but it does make sense that I burned the roots and now they are not taking in enough nutrients. How would I apply hydrogen peroxide to the roots? Should I run my drip feed from once a day to maybe 2 or 3 to give the working roots more times to absorb the nutrients?

You should have loads of white roots pouring out of those net pots. Don't worry about what deficiency it might be, worry about your root rot issues. Happy roots will make happy plants.

If I were you, I'd start over. Those roots are in BAD shape.
