What did you accomplish today?

Broke second toe on left foot early Saturday morning, so hobbling around like an old man. Taped it to my big toe which helped with mobility as well as relieving some pain. Ice packs etc. I am highly experienced with broken toes. Wearing old Rockport Hikers until anything else is comfortable.

We are retired so not many places to be or anything.

Knee bends done, toe retaped and let Ms.Wife deal with the Wiener Dog.
 I love your fighting spirit.
this morning I walked by the bike cage where my bike was stolen a few weeks ago and noticed the cage door had been cut and the plywood pushed in . This is a new brazen move which most likely happened when the punk who stole my bike bragged to his homies about stealing my bike and how easy it was. I reported is immediately and the leasing office was thankful. I noticed some had parked their bike in the spot mine was stolen and even though I don’t know who that person is hell if I’m going to let someone steal their bike if I can help it.

@Sir Napsalot I’ve been restoring a older 4wheeler for my youngest grandson’s Christmas present and I keep thinking of the quality of work I’ve seen you post on here…..it’s not going to be at that level but it’ll be presentable and hopefully reliable. View attachment 5442716
Here’s my very first ever seat recover , not to bad.
Looks good to me!

in ~1986 I worked a brief stint at an auto upholstery shop in Las Vegas, mostly doing trim work and final detailing, and one time I was cleaning up after a new top had been fitted on a pristine white-on-white '70s Eldorado convertble when I remarked to a co-worker that my stepdad had a car just like it- he was like "bullshit, if your dad had a car like this you wouldn't be working here..."
So I opened the glovebox and pulled out the registration and sure enough, it was my stepdad's car

Nothing quite as rewarding as sitting and watching paint dry. This was quite an undertaking. I had like 500 small push pin holes that needed to be filled and painted. I bought the wrong paint at first and after watching it dry and not match , went back to the paint store with a sample to match it perfectly and so super happy. These slum lords were going to charge like $700 to paint one wall.

Soldered the AC input connector back onto the circuit board after Mom ran over the charger for her mobility chair. Used 5 minute epoxy to fix the cracked housing and black tape for the DC connector on the cable.

Also brought her glasses in to be fixed.

I got the utility bill yesterday and the water usage was higher than normal so I went looking for a water leak- it turned out to be the water inlet valve for my toilet was leaking and dripping down the overflow tube
So I got a new water inlet valve and installed it today and now everything is fine :)

I took the intent of a thread a tiny tiny bit more literal, but still in the general vibe.
Turned off the lights in my first grow, and got the thumbs up from the neighbor's kid on the effort (he has several grows under his belt).
Ran my last christmas errands (i hope)
Ran my first (and hopefully only) errand to get my trimming and drying supplies (should have taken care of my curing needs, doh!).
Remembered I need more alcohol, and perhaps latex gloves (hooray, another retail trip the weekend before christmas).
Ate a 200Mg edible with the intent of drawing a few christmas things for my social media, but instead spent several hours on RollItUp.
I used punctuation and capitalization like a chimpanzee wielding a firearm.

Then I spoke into the air "Spybot, please play 'Because I Got High' by Afroman".

Then I thought about life choices for a moment, and decided that we shall continue course.

Be kind.
