my father is well known and respected judge - which is why I never had the chance to actually see a jail cell. I consider it a blessing because if my father wasn't who he is.. my ass would have been in prison a long time ago. I mean, I got setup by an old "friend" (thought he was a friend..) and got hit with a Class 'Y' felony and a Class 'A' misdemeanor from that whole situation.. I didn't have to rat anyone out.. nor would I ever even consider ratting on anyone (must be my Sicilian blood) and I knew I wouldn't have to rat/narc on anyone even if I HAD TO.. because of who my father was.

The night I was setup and arrested.. I was released from the police station without paying a penny for bail. How? I was let go on my own 'reconicence' (spell check anyone?) - which means, I had to sign this piece of paper and date it.. woopity dewww!

I also played a reverse psychology move on the detective that was the head of my 'case'. The night I got arrested, I was sitting in this fucking cage in the rear of the police station (just a big dog kennel pretty much, made out of chain-link fencing and had a metal bench mounted on the wall, not too comfortable) - I sat in there for about 30 minutes until finally the detective came back there and talked to me. I just basically asked him, "hey, what do I have to do.. to go home tonight?", and he replied "I need 3 names and you'll have to be involved in the take-downs on all 3 people." Ah hah! This is where it clicked in my head.. to play the reverse psychology move on his ass... and that's exactly what I did.

He needed 3 names.. but I told him that I would have to think about it overnight and get back with him. So, the detective tells me that if I agree to help him with giving him 3 names, he tells me that he will let me go home and let me sign a document that releases me on my own 'reconicence?' (spell check again?) and he gives me his 'business' card with his name and telephone number on it. After signing the document, I assure him that I'll be in touch.. and that was that for that night.

I walk outside the police station and call a buddy of mine to pick me up. He comes and gets me and takes me home.. because the police impounded my truck the night I got busted/setup, so I had no way of driving home.

So I get home, and guess who calls my fucking cell phone. The rat mother fucker that set me up!!! He calls me, and his tone of voice.. was like, you know, he knew what he did.. and knew what it was all about.. but yet, he still had the nerve to ask me.. "what the fuck was that all about earlier this evening??" - Really..? Really....!?!? REALLY!?!?!? YOU RAT MOTHER FUCKER YOU!! You honestly have the fucking balls to call me after you set me up.. and act like you don't know what the fuck that was all about?!?! REALLY?!! I told him I'd see him around eventually.. and hung up on his stupid ass.

Anyhow, the next morning.. the detective calls me and asks me if I had come up with three names. I politely tell him that I wasn't going to cooperate nor was I ever going to give his ass any fucking names. I then politely told him that if he needed further information from me.. he needs to either call my lawyer or he can call the Attorney General.. which of whom is and was then, a VERY good friend of my fathers. Little did the detective know, but the Attorney General was personally going over my arrest.. and my case.

Anyhow, at the end of all the chaos.. the detective got put in his place, all my charges were dropped with the combination of the Attorney General and my fathers help.. and I got my truck back the night after I got arrested.

Basically, I knew my rights people.. I knew that the police couldn't force me to do anything I didn't want to do.. and all of you have the same right. Each state has its own laws though.. make sure you understand that part of it. Make sure your educated on the arrest process and your rights.. use the internet to study up on your local states-state laws and you'll be fine.

One other thing too.. right quick.. its not only what you know.. but sometimes, its who you know that counts.

21 plants over here isn't much unless they prove you're selling so if they couldn't what he got sounds about right

10 e's= 40 hrs community service and a £50 fine, was expecting 6 months inside but they dropped the charges to possession
because the twat who arrested me didn't turn up at court which was nice. This was 12 years ago though

i got 3000 fine or 12 months for 10 e i paid the fine. almost a year later same copper searches me caught with 8 e this time get charged with dealing i got a strike out because the let me out of the police station without an interveiw because i was to out of it.

i was 17 when caught, i got set up, i also had a tic list in my wallet from months before that i didnt no was there but tried to blag that as money i had won in a poker game and money i had lent to people. So i had to get 3 people off the list to come and testify for me, one didnt turn up,one crashed his car on the way there and a got good mate of mine came back from uni to be a witness but wasn't needed in the end. I said my good byes to people but when he didn't turn up it was FUCKING lucky.

a strike out when the judge dismisses the case because of a police cock-up. the judge told me he would be seeing me again, but i havn't been arrested since. the poker game was a good idea for your tic list

You do if you have a good lawyer. In the U.S. having a good lawyer is the difference between having and not having rights. My problem, since I moved, I have yet to get a good lawyer.

I was charged with three felonies and thirteen misdemeanors for selling an oz then a lb to an undercover (set up) with a shotgun present. I was hit with felony distribution and possession of a firearm with close proximity to narcotics. Due to the fact the gun was legally owned and registered and in the other room at the time of the sale my lawyer got that dropped. My source (best friend ans partner for 4 years) and I faked a set up that put the blame on the cops for fucking up and that got everything dropped besides one distribution for the lb sale. I've been in rehab and working a desk job for the past 8 months which combined with my godlike lawyer a good judge and da selection and the fact it's my first offense should secure me probation but I probably can't get the felony dropped. My shit is still in process but my lawyer will see if I can get probation and will tell me next week.

Seriously hoping for probation but the worst case scenario is 9 months, I'll just be happy when it's over

You are very wrong my friend. That's one of the many reasons these dirty pigs (cops) are doing so many illegal shit because people are so afraid of cops and think that they don't have rights, we all have right you just got to know them and fight for them. I remember when the cops entered my house illegally and then unto my room illegaly the cops told me I was detained, fine I stayed quiet and then they said that they was waiting for a detective to come. I still didn't say nothing, but once the detective came he went inside my house and did an illegal search in my room. He then came out and tried for atleast a 30 minutes to get me to admite that I had given him consent to come inside my home. Ha I just looked @ him and smirked and told you pigs fucked up by doing an illegal search you fat fuck (he was a fat black pig), well he didn't like it when I told hime that so he told the officers to arrest my ass.... anyhow 1 year later and my court date was up, I went and the judge pretty much looked at the cop and told him you can't be doing illegal searches to peoples houses just because you "feel" or you "smell" something fishy. Towards the end of the court case the judge had made the cop feel so small and dumb that I started feeling bad for the pig but then again I remembered that I was arrested for two days so fuck him......

Here in cali Cops only want 100+ Plant busts.. If you are legal for lets say 6 plants & get caught with 12 or 20.. =/ Wont be too hard to fight as long as you are not caught distributing it.

I know of ppl who grow I have never met.. . Many ppl know I grow.. >.< Everyone grows.

It is when you grow for profit & such when LEO gets nosy. Such as having guests @ all times of the day come by your home smoking & buying pot.

i don't get your story. i've been arrested lots of times and done lots of time too. i know for a fact we have no fucking rights. You got lucky and got a cop that admitted you didn't give him consent to search. a dickhead cop by the sounds of it. all that cop had to do was say you gave consent, then get back up from his friends. happens all the time. i dunno what planet you live on.

Seems to me the Pacific Northwest )Washington, King county, Tacoma washington U.S.A. ) we are looking real legal. I know of a hundred MMJ clinics. Just can't smoke or grow out in the open. The Law is pretty loose. FYI
