The gas bags on Zeppelins were made out of cow intestines joined together with nothing but water. It took 250k cows per Zeppelin. Cow intestines were in such demand that, for a while during WWI, sausage making was illegal in Germany. Thank you Nova.

I can tell ya some horror stories.. :) I worked for the CA courts for 10 years collecting fines/fees etc..

civil assessment fee of 310$ added to any fine within a 60 day period.. then another 35$ for monthly payments if you cant pay the fine + civil fee in full..

nation wide FTP/FTA hold placed on dl's if unpaid

The face on Resusci Anne dolls is based on a death mask made from a young woman that committed suicide by jumping into the Seine river in the 1880s. When the French authorities would fish somebody out of the river, they would make a death mask for identification purposes. For some reason, this particular death mask was considered quite beautiful and was freely copied. It was common for the next hundred years for people to display this death mask in their homes.

learned so far today how to take an audio cda file convert to mp3 using VLC. I have a mp3 file I want to upload to youtube however it wont allow just a mp3 file in their slide show format they only allow 10 mins of audio track... mine is 62mins

I would prefer to upload this to youtube if possible..

Prairie voles are similarly monogamous as we are but meadow voles are little slut-balls. Science-doing-people are expecting to find out stuff about their genetic code that may explain why humans tend to pair up.
